Investigate The Ancient Secret at Ancient Depot (Zharkov System)
OK, I have at the moment 3 ancient runes placed in their respective places and can be rotated. In the center, there is a sealed ancient structure. Are there any clues (at the location) to know how I am supposed to turn them? Been trying all sorts of combinations but I haven't had any luck.

Yes, there are symbols for the respective places which you simply have to match by rotating the runes. Just a matter of finding where the symbols are. Hint: they aren’t far from where you are rotating the runes.

Additionally the sealed ancient structure itself doesn't (as far as I can tell?) have any functional purpose yet.

You can glitch inside it for lul's though. 👍

Thanks. You helped me confirm that I needed 3 Runes and I found the clues by flying lower :)

I can glitch?? How do I do that? I tried teleporting, but that didn't work.

The structure isn’t finished so the only way to get in atm is to either find a glitch, or alternatively go into photomode and then free-fly in.

Talk about glitches. I had no symbols to guide me on how to rotate the runes. Just metal. I had to find a YouTube video which showed me the symbols and then I had to do trial and error in order to get the jar released.

There is guidance. Attached to each "pedestal" with the rotating runes is a path (looks like a ladder) that leads to a symbol where you can see which face should point towards the middle.
