I did request freely moveable UI parts ( like in EvE Online ) for the game interface elements, as the UI has 18000 buttons, a lot of stuff on the left side, middle and a lot on the right side.
The bottom video shows a VERY relaxed way of playing, if you maybe want to look at some of the interface elements with a smart streamer @20:40 in the video.
He performs nearly no UI interface clicks/changes, compared to competitive play.
There are probably better videos that show much more UI interface clickery performed by someone, I wish I had done some recordings.
Don`t know if there will be interface mods to move UI elements and what currently is in the options ? Have not played this game in ages.
If you want to play max action 5v5 pvp matches, one probably moves the head very often from the left to right, if it's a very wide display ?
Hope a ( non-modded ) base game will have lots of ( someday new ? ) interface UI options for competitive auto-match multiplayer.
Would be ace if we could move UI elements onto other screens for PVP
I have no clue how your resolution would play out practically.
Maybe someone else has more help for you ? That's my 50 cents.
If you play this and look for nice people, I`m around the corner

When games support the monitor, the head and eyes stay mostly forward, but the peripheral vision fills in which is very enjoyable and cinematic. I guess the support (just native resolution support, not UI tweaking) is seemingly trivial to implement as more often than not random users find the fix via already existing config file hooks. That said, with so few games supporting 5120x1440 without being at the mercy of random users, that if I were to do it again... I would not buy the monitor. It is great when it is supported, but it is such a disappointment when it is not. I have had to refund more than a few games because I could not enjoy a small window (smaller than a traditional ratio) or was forced to have a cropped and zoomed image. I have missed out on several games I wanted to enjoy because of this. Hopefully MoW2 is not another one.
I'll check out that video. Thank you. =)
The last rts pvp`s that were truly fun for me were 2007 WiC and CoH2 2013.
Now two smash rts games, MoW2 & Broken Arrow.

Edit: It was a failing GPU fan. Timing made it seem like the ultra wide support, but it was the lesser load of lower settings or windowed that was not pushing the heat levels. 5120x1440 works well it seems.
