is it the real Company of Heroes 3 ?
from the gameplay and beta, it feels very arcade compared to MoW 2 assault squad, and not bad if it's better than COH 3

Is this a statement or a question? :steammocking:
Or both ?
Not sure...

These are my personal opinions:
CoH1 & 2 were great games.
Men of War 2 is a great quality modern rts game.

In general, I do not mention or talk about CoH3 ...because that would be a sin. :abitmtired:
My opinion.

I don't think you should compare these two games. I like COH as light entertainment - but if MOW2 is anything close to previous releases, I hope it maintain it's freedom and much more realistic battles. And depth.
Come on guys, release a great ww2 rts - we really need it. COH3 was such an unfinished disappointment
IMHO Men of War 2 ( and Broken Arrow ) are the best rts in one or two decades.
Buddies and me can`t wait till we can play again.

Hopefully, the Steam forum will get more active when the game is released on the 15th,
but probably a lot will be in the game until their head drops off :abitmtired::healthvial:

A lot of people who got Relic Steam banned in the first week of the CoH3 launch will play this, especially those who played CoH2 for 10K - 20000 hours.

Relic Steam banned hundreds of their biggest fans at CoH3 game launch,
I have 60 contacts who want to buy and play this MoW2 game ( again ).
A lot tested this game for 50-350 hours for free in public playtests.

When I tried the alpha of MoW2 it was way too arcady for me at least.
Not at all the gritty feeling of the franchise.
I don't know if that has changed since though.
True - The graphic style and feeling of this game has stayed the same.

The "Gates of Hell Ostfront" graphics are amazing.
I used to play it in test mode with max player`s multiplayer and max start resources, most players pc`s could never handle it and quit those random matches due to lag and collapsing computers.
Like attacking with 40 Tiger tanks and 20 Karl Geraet :D
GoH Ostfront has a lot of great 1v1/2v2 players - I prefer epic battle matches with lots going on.

IMHO the biggest downside with GoH is the game engine and the multiplayer tech.
We have one dedicated Men of War 2 player who is playing with an ancient Nvidia 970 and it runs ok for him in multiplayer - Low systems specs ( or ping ) of players don't drag everybody down, like in GoH Ostfront.
My specs are ryzen 7600x, 64gb ddr5, nvmes, 4070ti, win11.

This game`s MoW2 engine and the awesome random multiplayer matchmaking are a huge plus. Also one can still turn a battle tide with just a few units left. AI for players dropping out of matches is good, as it constantly rushes/pushes.

I do understand that people have their favorite games and styles :)
I always say that people should play what they love and would never talk anybody out of the games they play.

There are no Utube videos up yet which show what people can truly experience in this game, we had matches where several screens of stuff blow up in the same moment in 5v5.
Maybe me or buddies will someday do some Utube uploads.

The UI may be clunky, complicated and overloaded for beginners, after a hundred hours one can play keyboard piano like in Starcraft... or those who don't want to micro units, that works out ok for casuals in this game too. The UI, digging, mining and mouse controls still would need more development love in this MoW2 game.

I just love the mix of grand-scale play + dipping into micro if one wants to battle something to death. Got to love infantry shoveling each or having a sniper on a horse :steammocking:

There are many funny multiplayer moments in this game,
one can laugh so much, especially with friends.
This game doesn't have the rts genre typical sterile tech feeling, it's got a lot of character with all the splatter, stuff flying around and tanks driving over infantry and through houses.

Wishing a nice day/night.

The Game got different Game Modes for Hardcore and even for Arcade/Casual gamers.

I think, its a great combination and will raise the community / Fan base.

The Devs did a great job and hear to the Community. The Beta was so much fun.

Its not a COH, but to be honest, its still better then COH3 :D
