This is easily the worst, most horrid, awful, interpretation of Risk EVER.
This was HORRIBLE, Firstly It forced me to go through an awful tutorial Where no skip button was offered, I am not seven learning how to play the game for the first time, I played this game to have fun with my friends. and you turned easily my favorite board game into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile game, IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD A FREE GAME THEN DON'T MAKE IT FREE. You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ added a Energy system to RISK??? And you made the random placement ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as if you are trying to make the game into a blitz chess game. This game is not chess. The tutorial (After reluctantly suffering through this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game treating me like I am 7) DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME ANYTHING ACTUALLY USEFUL, Like idk the controls???? The energy system is disgusting, the random ranked blitz ♥♥♥♥ is awful, and the random placement thing literally gets rid of one of the central strategic parts of this game and it is on by default. You made a mobile game out of a genuinely fun board game. if a developer sees this. Go ♥♥♥♥ yourself.

I think he needs to work on his communication skills.
I disagree with you on one point you made Risk is the next game above chess, Assuming the joining system was actually random and not Collabs running their points up on the leader board.
I also question why free is even necessary on a game that has a base price of 12.99$
As a paid account myself...I'd like the ability to block ALL free acounts.

Yeah, They tried way to many things at once. For my first time playing this game it was awful, my family has always mainly played all the fun Risk Games and Catan. So it felt as if all of the strategy and uniqueness of this game was gone. I first played with my friend after being forced through a tutorial that i did not want to complete which arguably explained nothing usefull that you couldn't understand in the first 3 seconds of playing. then when we finally made our game. We started on the classic map with all of our pieces all over the place which was one of the main strategic points, placing your pieces on the board initially to develop strategy and counterplay. Next I found out I could only play a certain amount of games because of the "coins" (Energy system). and all of this culminated into me playing the worst most weirdly fast paced unsatisfying game of risk ever. I will be playing risk in person from now on.

I felt the same way you do about five years ago,
I also played this board game since childhood and many years of Risk2....I'm 61 now.
I've been checking on this every few months, waiting on them to fix this for 5 years.
Sooner or later Someone Smart has to see how screwed up this is and fix it.
I see this as a great profit making situation for someone with Money and Imagination.
Not With the people driving it till the Tires fall off.
Someone who sees what this Timeless Game can be,
I got about 20 years left in my life...maybe it'll happen in my lifetime.
