Anyone ever mysteriously lose points?

My points dropped from yesterday by thousands.....to exactly 1000...seems intentional to me....and yes I submitted a report....It seems more everyday 100% waste of time to play this game unless you are a hacker/cheater....

Happens all the time, it's a it's a mechanic SMG implemented about a year ago to give players that feeling of "need" to keep playing to increase their score again.

Yet another shady development practice from SMG.

This happens because of a new ranked reset.

There is actually a ranked timer which shows up in the select game type screen. This will tell you when the season ends. Your points will get reset. This happens to everyone and your point reset depends on the rank you are. For instance My account was Master two seasons ago (Around 17/18k points), it was reset to 11,000 (Expert) the next season. And if I was 11,000 points last season it would then reset to 6,000 (Intermediate)

A ranked reset is something that occurs in most if not all competitive games. Otherwise, someone could reach say 30,000 points, not play for a year and still be a higher ranking than some new grandmasters. That would be unfair to the players that are actually playing ranked.

It's not as if every single player is automatically reset to 1,000 points.

You were never Master rank. We all know yall neither play nor care about the game, as evinced by you never fixing anything we ask you to, because if you did play you would care and actually want to fix it. Why are you wasting time here, shouldnt you be making another useless DLC no one asked for?

You are being rude. Dev care about the game. If they don't do what YOU want, it doesn't mean that they are doing anything.

You get reset to the minimum points required for your current rank, you don't lose the rank itself. Unless you're already at the minimum points for that rank (like you didn't play for a whole season); then you go down a rank and get the minimum points for that instead.

That would be like saying the sky looks blue during the day with no cloud cover...

Nice try on shifting the focus and refusing to answer the question though, the alt account you use agree with you + make the forum look better was a nice touch too.

Also worth noting anyone saying Souty is an alt of the devs is not guilty of defamation unless you can prove they know its a lie and said it with intent to harm. Why should we take in consideration your playtime ? You could just have the game open for 300 hours for what we know. We don't care about your opinion, so playtime isn't a thing
