Ranked matches

Why play in ranked matches? Are there any rewards for winning there?
Or is it like regular pvp matches, but just with ranks, to force people to compete without any meaning?

So, does this mean that ranks don’t affect anything and don’t give anything?

Yes. It's just for your own satisfaction, in your own mind. No physical rewards there.

Ranking, generally, is meant to be an indication of skill. And that way we have the ability to have high-skilled only lobbies. But... the ranking system is flawed and rewards waiting out stalemates. And this is how most GM lobbies go.

So the only reason to really play Ranked is just because there's more games going than in Casual.

Play with some friends, not with random people. It's way better.
