Is Zombies a premium buy?

The DLC and in game description don't mention it but when trying to select it in game it says it needs premium. So what gives?

Also, are Zombies worth it?

Yes, you need to buy the "Premium Mode" DLC for $13, although it's currently on sale for $7.

However, I noticed a few days ago the zombie maps are now missing. Don't know why that is. I didn't like those maps anyway, and won't be buying the zombie map pack DLC. You get quickly and ridiculously overwhelmed. For example, say you start with 12 countries, which gives you 4 troops to place on your first turn. The zombies get something like 30 troops their first turn, regardless of how many countries they have. Second turn, you get 4 again, but now they get 82. Third turn, you get 4 yet again (cause you still have 14 or less countries), but the zombies now get 147. And that's how it goes. Just an exercise in futility.

Really? That is mathematically impossible to win solo then, is it meant to be played in coop?

The zombie maps can be played solo. Don't know if they can be played co-op. Never tried.

It is now, but the paywall is new and really sucks as the zombies are the absolute best part of this game. As a paying customer I am still pissed because there are so many less games to choose from. Some people had maps I don't have, but didn't have "premium" so now you get to choose from just a couple or just make your own. Very lame.
