(With tongue-in-cheek) after nearly 3 decades of Linuxmania, we can see why game developers are 100% focussed on making games for Linux.
I would also like to be able to run Risk on Linux.
I use both Windows and Linux on my desktop and I prefer Linux over Windows.
Since Risk has an Android version, it should be feasible to run in on Linux using Anbox

I didn't try this so far, but I'll give this a shot later this week.
When developers have so little to gain by making a game compatible with a tiny fraction of users, the onus falls on the company making the operating system, not the company making the game.
Also keep in mind you are bringing this up on a forum for a game with developers who give zero ♥♥♥♥♥ about anything but making cash grab DLCs. They have squandered what could be a gold mine of a game with their incompetence and apathy. They dont fix bugs that have existed for years, address cheaters, or improve game quality of life, and they never will. Asking for meaningful change here is a complete waste of time and energy.
