Cheaters

Too many cheaters on this game, its great otherwise, there are clearly people collaberating with multiple accounts, reported them but it continues, the cheating has to be stopped, can accounts from the same IP not be blocked?

Actually, I have to fight against 3 players, EVERY round...and, there is no ALLIANCE possible.
Those players are:
HARPER DE BALZAC 34
SLADE LISTER 34
In fact, there is no possibilty, with the random names, to have 34 by hazard.
MINTIE THE ELDER has attacked too, but with her or his strange play, seems to be a "faire valoir" player (or the master of this joke, I have left the game).

So, I was near to buy for the end of this year maps, but I try to see what happens. In three games, two suspicous cheats and the last is surely a cheat.

With that sort of problem and, how strange it is, one bug, which has left me wihout possibility of attack...or, I was in a good way to disturb an enemy. So, if solo game is not a problem, multiplayer, which is the base of this game, is again unplayable.

So, at the end of the year, without solution, a bad review will be made. I have waited enough time to say definitly "no".

How can you have the to top spots of the leader board full of players with thousands of games, and only 10 losses, with win streaks of 300+ games, If the admins wanted to do something they would clean this filth out and remove the incentive for cheating, and police the game better, I have had cheaters out of the last 5 games, will probably ask for a refund of premium purchase as its not worth it.

These players tend to play 1v1s, and don't cheat. Report suspected cheaters in-app and you'll hear back from us on any actions taken.

Hello, My name is Pascal Lamorisse III. My greatgrandfather was the man that invented "Risk", or "La Conquete De Monde" as he and his brothers named it. I have been screening the program since I began playing with my kids and I assure you that the program is not properly formatted. It not only is rigged in it's ranking system as I have destroyed people in the top twenty, numerous of them but due to their VIP status the do not move when theny lose and myself as a grandmaster lose over a thousand ranks when I lose a game. Not only is the ranking set up. I know atleast 9 of the top thirty that are cheating because I traced their IP and 5 of the 9 run off the same IP, a house rented to two college kids in a unnamed city in the UK, and the same for the other four with the IP out of Austraila. "FYI", Don't listen to any non-sense posted by (Duke) trying to cover for his co-conspirator. He's a cheater also.

Even accounts not sharing the IP but having reports from playing together on them are prevented from playing with each other. We have 6 independent automatic cross checks that block collusion cheaters out. Help those by reporting players (klick their avatar and use the report button) ingame.

However:
Keep in mind that there are many situations in which it appears for you to play against a team, while your opponents behaviour is actually a natural and logical conclusion of the situation on the board.
Also, if you are the highest ranked player, you are the natural Target No.1 for all others. On the other hand, some experienced players have mastered the art of "honeypotting" lower ranked players. Basicallym they either offer a temp. Alliance, or they set actions that make the rookie believe "Big Brother is helping me". It`s an evil but psychologically quite effective strategy.

Rule of Thumb: Only 1 out of 10 ingame cheating reports and 2-3 out of 10 manual (Email or Discord) reports are actual cheating, the rest is the perception of being cheated.

Currently we manually check (after reports or automated alerts) around 30000 accounts and ban 5000 of those per year, which sounds an awful lot, but keep in mind we have 2.5 million players.

You have provided multiple completely false statements, yet no supporting evidence. Are you sure that they invented it? You seem to be lacking strategy here buddy... :(

wait so if i am about too lose thanks too someone messing up my master plan. then proceed too spend the next 5 rounds doing everything in my power too stop them from winning it's cheating? my intended target would be the only one i attack.

Targeting someone is not against fair play rules. It is against fair play rules if you are purposefully working together with another player in ranked when alliances are off and you have outside communication with the player - If alliances are off, you might have an informal alliance with someone who you have no outside communication with, and that would still be allowed.

yea but say red guy attacks me. blue guy dose not. i go all out attack attack attack but never attack the blue guy.
how would red guy know? all red guy see's is me skipping over blue guy too attack him.
also alliances are part of risk. alliances are part of war and conquest. boosting is part of all online games. if someone needs too fake a grand master rank in an online risk game just too get out of bed in the morning. there not well pity them not ban them.

anyway your silly rules have zapped the fun out of this game.

Alliances aren't against the rules

I never said they were.

What's against the rules is going in a ranked game with random players and collaborating with someone in the game via Discord, Steam, text, etc to team up on a player. Teaming up ingame via alliances, both formal and informal, is fine.
