There are two strategies that work well. One goes over America, one over Europe and Africa. Go America first. Use just the bare minimum of troops needed to deny your foes the continent bonus for Asia and Africa, The Rest goes into NA with a stronghold in your back.
Keep denying continent bonus and spread out through the Americas before closing in from Brazil into Africa. At this point, you have the troops superiority.

I mean you can just repeat it several times with some strategy you see someone else use in current patch and just wait till you get good rng
just here to drop my experience on this....
you start with 150+ troops... this makes you go WOW!! but its nothing..
what ive learned is this:

DONT attack everything you can attack.
DONT go for continent bonus straight away
Pick the fastest route to 2 other continents to deny THEIR bonus
end you turn
Pick the fastest route to 2 more continents to deny THEIR bonus

now the fight starts

WHAT YOU DONT WANT TO DO IS:
use your first turn to get europe for yourself, you only get +5
they get +19 from other continents if you take north america, you get the same but they only get +14
if you use your first turn to get 2 continents you will get +7 or +10
and they get +12 or +14
you might think this is a winning strategy, but if you do it in one turn
or two turns, you have only 70 troops left of wich 15-20 are stacks of 1
the other 50+ will be divided on 3 strategic places with stacks of 20 max

so rather than getting bonus yourself, quickly deny their bonus, THEN conquer a continent

I just beat it after dozens of tries. I will say it's not a very good scenario (All vs One is much better) but is doable. I say it's not good, b/c it is completely RNG based, you have to recognize when your open didn't work and just keep restarting, while All vs One is much more about how you play.

Here is what I did, leave Europe into N. Africa, move into S America and clear it, go up through N. America cross the passage to Asia and down into Australia (follow the path of least resistance to get here) then clear Australia.

NOW HERE IS THE KEY AND WHY THE SCENARIO ISN'T VERY GOOD, IF YOU DON'T HAVE 40+ TROOPS ON YOUR LAST SPACE TO FORTIFY, JUST RESTART, YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TO CRACK THE AI.

If you have 40+ troops left, Fortify to N. Africa. The rest of the game is stationing your army in N. Africa, Middle East, Egypt, or Afghanistan so that you can keep denying the A! Europe and Asia.

You want to hold this middle crossroads to be able to get anywhere needed. With that good start your goal more than holding any continents is to NEVER let the AI get a continent bonus. I have won when they get a continent bonus ONCE, but never after 2.
I have seen 3 different strategies, tried all mimimal 20 times, some 40+ times, I think I am above 100 attempts, but I never succeeded, mostly I have too few armies left to go on after the first part, what also shocks me is that I always have the same order of winning cards: cannon/cannon/horse/horse/cannon.
I really think there is a problem with this scenario, so I can not play the other maps free.
I won the One Vs All scenario once, in about 12-15 attempts. My lone victory strategy was similar to IvanErtlov, but I left strong armies on the 'corners' of the northern part of Europe, while reducing the armies of adjacent territories, but not necessarily conquering them.
I have tried one v all over 40 times with no luck. Many different strategies, but ai has too many troops and cards are always 2 cannons and 2 horses before i get a turn in. By that time it is over. Best Strategy i found is to take NA leave troops in Iceland, Kamchatka, and swing down to North Africa. leaving a few troops in Central America. But alas it is a loosing battle. i wouldn't say it is medium to hard... more like Impossible without extreme luck.

I have 2000+ games in here with 566 wins playing ONLY 6player non alliance.
Not sure about the AI, havn't played them since I started playing.

Edit...Just played a 6 player one VS all AI ,beat it first try.
the bots are alittle more aggressive...not much difference.

The scenario is a 1v1 where you have one territory and a lot of troops, and they hold the rest of the world. Beating 5 expert ai in a free for all is much easier than this scenario
You take all Europe breaking all the AI bonuses & sit your troops on middle east & you can trick the ai into atk your ones instead of stacking your boards at you take it piece by piece while breaking any bonus retook by the AI.

It's 50/50 RNG you'll have enough troops left to survive after this method.

Edit okay I did lose but it's pretty simple, the AI looks like it can only take 6 or so actions a turn I think it's on a timer so after take your bonus & breaking theirs you just keep hitting their ones & stuff forcing them to hit those first, break around six of their each turn & you get very close to out resourcing them.
