I saw in settings you could "logout" (bottom of page), and from there login with another account

You can not use your Google account. Create a new Risk account on mobile. Then use the same screen name and password created on mobile to login in Risk on Steam. Do not change your Steam user name and password. Only when logging into Risk on Steam do you put your mobile Risk account info. Hope this helps. All your saved stuff on mobile will come over to Steam.

Hi all, please use your RISK name to transfer purchases and accounts.
We see a lot of you trying with Facebook, Google, Apple - that wont work.

What will work:

1. Take your mobile, go into the settings and set a password (unless you did that already).
2. Write down or memorize your RISK name (the randomly generated one, like "Lucius The Cruel 33".
3. Go to Steam, log out if you already have a login active
4. Log in as Steam account with the credentials from step 2.

Voila!

Crazy how you guys were discussing this almost 5 years ago and SMG still hasnt fixed it nor given any correct information on how to fix it, just a horrid company tbh! The method listed by @smg does in fact not work. The idea that you could login to steam with a risk username is just ridiculous. They have got to be making this stuff up.

Its deliberate. Why would they fix something that can lead to a person buying the game all over again? They have not fixed a single thing I have seen complained about, be it bugs, dice rolls, cheaters, or this. They even deleted the link in the pinned post here that says where to file tickets for issues. Horrid company indeed, pure scum.
