You can spoil me here, I'm not gonna really find 'em all. Is it a secret ending?

Hi! Once you find all of the slides, you unlock the Memoir mode. Opening this allows you to view a narrated slideshow of Alexander's backstory in more detail.

And you couldn't really incorporate it into the story? Since I have your ear, were you not able to get money for the ending? I mean I'm sure you've seen my review to know how I feel?

To be quite honest, since we are just a team of two, we had extremely limited resources to work with, and had a strict deadline for launch that we had to meet (can't disclose why). We wanted to end the story in a bit of a shocking way, since we had to take care of it quickly. I completely agree with you though, our narrative could have been told in a more effective manner, since we ended it too soon. If that's true then it's a great shame. That's kinda bull that your indie project be given a deadline for some odd reason.
