While the game has never officially been declared as abandoned, the developers have not communicated anything directly since a patch after launch. The only communication we've heard of is alleged email conversations, Twitter DMs and speculation.

All things considered, it will likely not be updated for the foreseeable future.

RIP GAME, Hopefully they come back, and add back the leveling system. It's a great game, Just need the progressing system back to make it gindy again.

or have a option to turn it on or off. plus the dev were great at making this game I don't know what happening with them but hopefully we can bring them back and bring the hype for Cubeworld. Game run awesome, music amazing, and puts u into a peaceful reality

i was doing some research and wooly is too busy doing his real work, and being a family man. he isn't ever coming until he needs money for his kids college fund or something
