Cube World

A game like cube world
I recently stumbled across a game very similar to cube world, and actually being worked on by its dev, Veloren: The Voxel Adventure Game.

Maybe this can fill the void that cubeworld left.

Edit: Forgot to include the link https://veloren.net/

There was a game that was released recently called Nasty Rogue That literally look like Cube World, but its $12 and is a rogue like dungeon crawler. Ya'll check it out.
There's Veloren being developed, it already has more work put into then Wollay has in 6 years.

Game mechanics and art styles aren't protected. All new game genres start out being called <Name of OG> Clones.

Veloren is a voxel-based game. The art style is bound to look similar to Cube World.

There's a free download available, which I have played, but the game has little to offer, right now. You can, basically, explore mechanics and have a glimpse at what the world may look like it the future.

The good thing about Veloren is that it's open source, so anyone can participate in it's development. The community seems to be really involved in the project and willing to help the game develop.

A lot, the rubberbanding got me the most.
Just wait for Hytale.

People bring up Hytale a lot, is that expected to be a third person ARPG? I was expecting more of a Minecraft 2.0 with a bunch of ideas from popular mods baked in.

I'd be willing to pay for good Minecraft mod that has progression, actually good dungeons and bossfights.

That's what I was hoping cubeworld would of been many years ago.
