so, i have a very low-end laptop, and im wondering how cube world will run on it? i remember playing alpha and chunk load speed was unbearable

I think it should be fine. You probably need to play around with the render distance a bit. It runs much better than the alpha.

Unfortunately I had the same experience with Alpha, I've upgraded my computer since then obviously, but still experience it to an unhealthy degree with the new version as well... your mileage may vary of course...

The game can be quite aggressive on the cpu during chunk loading and high creature count. People talk about 100% cpu usage and lag with big battles, as well. That being an APU alone would get a no from me, but you're millage may very.

Edit: Maybe when people confirm the cpu limiter option ingame starts working again(?), right now it'll use all the processing power it needs.
