Spirit bell not spawning in every zone?
So, i found a tower, with a door blocked by some gate. And i read that i need a spirit bell to get past it. I've looked EVERYWHERE, but i can't find any bell. There's nowhere left to go in this zone. Neither did i find the reins, or harp. But i've found eagle statues... So, i'm wondering if these are random spawns? If they're not here, i'll never "100%" this zone:/ (yea, i know there's no counter, but still:p)

Go to map... increase your view (max) and check your area within your white borders. You may missed something... if you'll find something interesting, place a star and go in there.

I've done that. And i've walked over the entire map, gone to every island, every mountain, etc. Found 2 artifacts, all towns, prolly all shrines... There's nowhere left to go. I have not explored all the caves tho. Are there stuff inside caves? I've seen underwater caves too, but i can't really dive for long.

The zone i'm in is called Yudor Hills, if that matters.

The actual way to finish a zone is to find all of the artifacts. The rest of the stuff is just a way to get to the artifacts.

Not every zone has every item, I've got a warrior and his starting zone has a hang glider and a sailboat. I have found no other exploration items in the region and I've searched every nook and cranny, including finding 3 artifacts.

If your region has named spots that are empty that is where gear like spirit bell or sky whistle or other gear will be. They spawn somewhere in the named area and are sometimes hard to spot, they can also spawn on roof and trees.

Best tip is to look for them at night as they are shiny and stand out at nighttime.

On my first attempt, I got all items, and defeated all bosses except big Cormling. I played as warrior. Someone I met, mentioned dungeon is in some sort of castle / church on the top of mountains or something like this... I never able to find it.
I left this game (not deleted) and started new one, as mage...
... maybe not every zone could be completed? Maybe map is corrupted sometimes, or maybe we got not enough experience?

I can't find any new areas, and all the areas found are checkmarked. But i guess i'll do some roaming at night before giving up. Might as well go over them again just in case, but i suppose i'm just simply done with this zone.

Thanks for the replies! I'll give a reply here if i find them. You know, in case someone else is in the same zone with the same issues. I still don't know if we all have the same map, just spawn at different places (i read a rumor that said everyone has the same map seed, only spawn at random places).

Hey i didnt find the spirit bell in my region aswell, also there was a blue door i couldnt open because i needed to raid a wizard tower and destroy something but there are also no wizards towers on my region

Is it locked by a golden door or iron bars? If it's iron bars, you probably missed a very specific spot.

In fact if you want I can help you look for it if you friend me cause I'm kinda tired of this post dragging on.

So sorry to revive this thread but I am in the same predicament. I've gotten everything else other than the Spirit Bell. What I found was that at one time I had an extremely hard time finding the reins until an NPC revealed it to me. The problem was that it takes them so long to generate new information - most of them say something completely irrelevant - that you can wait for ages before an NPC will help you out. This region I am currently in also has a building with a gate that can only be opened with a Spirit Bell, so unless there was a region-outlining error in the game, there must be a Spirit Bell in this region.

When I found the Climbing Spikes in this same realm, they were hidden within a conifer tree branch. I actually had to destroy tree branches in order to find it and then jump into the air in order to collect them. Which I found odd, but then should also show that you won't necessarily find a special item at night just by watching for it.

Something I would like to know: Can more than one special item be found in a single named area? There is a graveyard in this region but I found a Book Of Crafting there already so the area has already been checked off. Also, can all named areas show up and contain an item before they are revealed or do some areas require NPC's to tell you where they are?

I'm pretty sure the only thing you can find in an area you already found something else is the boat, since it spawns everywhere in Ocean biomes. You can even find it in towns.

As for all items, they only down in named locations, but every named location which isn't a town has an item or a "quest", so if there is a named location you didn't find travel gear or a boss mob in, that means you have missed an item there (or a gnome or whatever, though they are of harder to miss).

As for not being able to find the spirit bell, it sometime just doesn't spawn in a region, despite being needed to get through a gate. It is rare, certainly more rate than missing sky whistles, but it happens, but yeah, combing the main map on zoom step 1:8 and after that 1:4 is mandatory imo, to make sure you didn't miss anything, I always do that when I enter a new region.

Well, I managed to get through the building with the gate in my current region by playing the bell I had gotten in the neighboring region and crossing the border to enter the building while still in the Spirit Realm. There are absolutely no more named areas left on the map and the two or three named areas that had other things in them had no signs of the bell...

What gets me is that I got that Sky Whistle quite early on and have not yet found a single sky shrine in that region. I found the reins relatively late by bugging the hell out of every friendly NPC I saw but I haven't gotten anything more from them.

Someone really needs to put into the wiki that not all special items are in every region because I am just not seeing it (maybe I will put something in one of the Talk pages). I destroyed half a dozen trees in both of the two towns there and still nothing. To a completionist with OCD that would probably drive them bonkers.
