CWTOOL - A MOD THAT REMOVES REGION LOCK AND MORE TO COME >>>>> WIP! <<<<<
This is just a re-post of the following thread, however with very important information that the original post does not have.

The emphasis of this repeat post is that apparently not a lot of people are reading is that this mod IS NOT COMPLETE.

(IF YOU DON'T READ ANYTHING ELSE IN THIS POST, THEN AT LEAST READ THIS)

In other words, while it does remove region lock, this alone only makes the game easier than what we have now, since the enemies do not scale. However, the author IS aware of this and is currently working on trying to get enemies to scale, as well as other things. (Such as artifacts becoming more useful. Hint hint.)

(THERE HAS BEEN ENOUGH PEOPLE THINKING THE MOD'S ONLY INTENT IS TO MAKE YOU OVERPOWERED SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY DON'T READ.)

Be aware that since Cubeworld does not have an API, this mod is based on altering memory addresses. As such the modding capability may, or may not, be more limited, but it is definitely more difficult.

The author keeps coming back to the old thread to keep people abreast on things (though he's more active on the reddit thread) but I am going to to post back there hopefully to inform the author that a more informative thread has been posted.

Remember to BACK UP YOUR SAVES before attempting to use this mod.

Normally that's a given, but in this particular case it hardly matters.

They are working on fixing the systems Wollay broke, I'll get it and start playing again once they undo his hubris game systems.

Who's they? (If not this modder in question, which I thought was obvious.)

Time to keep an eye out for this tool. If it turns out to make a bunch of progress, I'll buy the game.

Pretty much haxifix, Chris Miuchiz and Geordan9. The usual modding suspects from the dark days after alpha.

Wasn't there another guy named monodan, or something like that? I think he had a github with a datamine.

Bumping, now that people are off work coming home to this nightmare.

I normally do not bump because of the rules, but this is one instance where I do not care. The lack of communication was this game's downfall, and this might be the game's only saving grace.

To be fair, it's worth bumping so I don't think you'd be much troubled for having done so

Lol.

Damnit, I was almost asleep as I was droning off reading the forums and now I'm awake again.

And soon someone tinkers with this stuff so it steals your game key or other information, even deletes the game if wanted to.
As long as the modding wont happen through Workshop, it can't be really trusted completely.
