They really are, best strat right now is to find a group of npc adventures and leech off of them until you get some gear.

You mean the NPC adventures will kill monsters that drop good gear? How do you get the gear out of what you are saying?

There is no "first zone", every zone is the same... and when youre done with one region, you start over in another one like you first boot up the game.
You start killing white enemies, get some gear, go for green enemies, get some gear go for blue enemies etc, clear the map and start over in another zone...

They'll kill enemies they wander into and those enemies can drop gear good enough to at least get you started.

You can disable region locking with cheat engine, but the entire game is built around it and once you're done with one zone you're essentially done with the game if you go that route. He was trying to figure out how to do infinite progression without player leveling but went the complete wrong way with it.

I'd say the game was too easy unless you're talking about the artifact dungeons with the amp'd yellow bosses in them, other than that you can roll over most of what is in regions after you get going. After region 1 I have started each region with blue/purple + gear and I only really need to avoid yellows in new zones to start.

Honestly i didnt played the game in alpha so i cant really compare, my gf bought it long time ago and after reading beta was going to get release we did played for a while... and got so disappointed that she just removed the game already.

The idea was to see how it was to buy a copy for me when got released and play together...

The game rewards you for completing a zone by "taking away" everything you earned and make it totally useless. They could have make enemies level up with you and make enemies drop better items as you level up (so you had to keep farming for it) and the game would be amazing.

As simple is it i love the style on the graphics, the world design, the dungeons and the enemies... But once you complete a biome and you need to go back killing chickens and crows it just sucks.

Complete a biome and keep playing is the same as complete a biome, delete your character and start over. Worst game progression design i ever saw...

The game doesn't take away anything. Your gear remains with you, you just can't kill high level mobs in the next zone over with it. For that you have to get better gear in that zone, just like when you enter a higher level zone in an MMO. You don't expect to keep the same gear all the way through, you are constantly upgrading it. The issue is the mobs are way too hard and too spread out when starting. If that was fixed, I don't think people would have a problem with having to get new gear each zone.

Before anything, I gotta say it was very smart for him to colour-code the enemy difficulties. Looking through this thread you can already see the convenience with people referring to "yellow enemies", "green enemies", "purple enemies".

But heres my question. Is there any white enemy areas in the game? Like in my game I found this crater that has green ogres, I also found a field with green enemies in general, but the only white areas I find are areas with no enemies, they only have equipment like climbing shoes and hang gliders.

Did u see i wrote taking away with quote marks? Ofc it still with you, but is totally useless, not because is weak (like in any other MMO) but because wearing those item in a different biome is the same as going in naked.

Just imagine borderlands 2 with the same progression, you step in to a new map, and your beloved guns are useless, your shield doesnt give you shields anymore, etc...

You're saying the mobs are too hard, they're not... you're suppose to start with white/green enemies, and they're not too hard at all.

Making first region white/green enemies only, second zone green/blue only, is basically what are you asking, just immagine that with relative level adeguate drops without region lock... and you got an amazing progression level.

You could say: "well, what about after you're full yellow?" Just add enemies that are yellow +1, yellow +2, and so on, same with gear... and you got an endless progression with far better rewarding system.

After 10 hours of playing, I finally found a white enemy area. It was this demon portal where you had to break the portal to spot demons from spawning. If I only found 1 of these in my entire region, then either my map wasn't generated properly or the progression isn't right.

They are not too strong, you can't do ♥♥♥♥ because you are weak

Hes right, theres not enough areas/activities for 1 star players who are just starting out.
azonicrider Oct 1, 2019 @ 4:11am
It took forever for me to level up, I finally found this green enemy that dropped leftovers which gave me a 2 star bow.
