Anyone know what leftovers do or what they are used for?

I have a ton of leftovers and i dont know if i should sell them or keep them for something else

Find a city, find the building with a magnifying glass over it on the minimap and he will "identify" it for you and you'll get a random weapon or armor piece depending on the rarity of the leftover.

Take them to a shop (one with the magnifying glass) to identify them for gold. They are weapons or armour of that colour class.

Until you go to the next zone. Then you will have to get news ones all over again. Same with each zone over and over and over
