How to tame a mana Deer

Can someone tell me how tame a mana deer, been trying work it out

Don't think they are on the list of new mobs that are tamable. Fire Turtle, Mana deer, Moose, and I think a couple others(I feel as if slimes became un-tamable but I could be wrong).

Well slime WERE tamable, so I guess they still are. Even if i didn't get a single jelly food for them.

Yeah, I just haven't seen any food for them as of yet. LVL 16 ranger but no Jelly for slimes yet. Could have made them as rare as the Spitter food.

They used to be tamable, I sure hope they still are.
