Coop friends spawn too far away

Hey guys, my friend spawns 100,000km away. How do we spawn closer to each other with fresh characters?

You can't right now. Have to find a city/village and get a free eagle ride to your friends. Personally miss the standalone server and the seeded worlds instead of just one world for everyone... I think he should just add a console with a teleport command, but that's just me..

Solved it!! Go to a town, there will be a flight master than can fly you around

Find a village, they have flight masters which can take you to your friends for free. There's usually about 4 villages per zone and you can find one by looking around in the map (just make sure you're not zoomed out too far).

Where on the flight master menu does it say you can fly to your friends for free. If your supposed to click on the friends Icon on the map then thats impossible for me and my friend to do because we cant even see each others icons were so far apart
Or are you to press "J" and then click fly to friend because that option does not show up either if thats the case.

Honestly I've never fully understood the intent of the "don't necro" convention, surely for technical questions it's better to have all the possible fixes in one place.
