Windows 10 Cube World Won't Launch [Please help me dad]

Hey you jabronis,

I'm on Windows 10, when I launch the game the loading screen appears for like one second and then the game crashes.

I've reinstalled the game, reinstalled Steam, updated Windows, updated every driver I could possibly find, repeatedly verified the integrity of the game files, ran in different compatibility modes. I even tried one of the Windows 7 fixes just for the hell of it.

Nothing works.

What the frick is going on here?

The beta doesn't start until the 23rd.

I know, guy, but everyone else's beta version opens to a locked menu screen. Mine doesn't open at all

No, sir, I've got a beta key. Trying to get to the title screen everyone else has access to

Try restarting your computer. Also, what's your hardware? Can't hurt to check that stuff.

Might want to try restarting your computer. It leads right up to the menu screen for me.

Really the only thing to worry about is if it'll work when the beta release update comes out.

Mine responds the same. I have Windows 7 so I guess I expected that. I'm stoked that the game is finally coming out... I'm bummed that I wont get to play it after buying into the alpha 6 years ago.

Does anyone know if there
is a good chance there will be a Window 7 hack for the full version to come?

There is a few guy with the same problem on a other post for W10, and for W7, they will Add dll for you guy can launch the game, pixie have speak about it ! I got the same problem for w10, I just hope for a fix before 23 :)

Same problem here, get a quick Cubeworld overlay when I click 'play' but nothing else! Hopefully temporary!

If you have multiple video cards, forcing windows to use just one may help. This was found by BiM in the cubeworld chat room.

my game dosnt launch either, if i try to run the cubeworld.exe in the steamapps folder i get a massage that i dont have "Xaudio2_8.dll but even after me installing that .dll file via a yt tutorial i still get this massage
