You still can AFAIK, Proton is apparently more compatible than Windows 7 right now.

Lutris with Wine is commonly used for such solutions, but an actual Linux build would be nice.

Forgive me I am somewhat ignorant, I switched to Linux a few weeks ago and didn't even know about the proton beta. Cube world is working in Proton.

Yes there is another operating system aside from windows. Lutris and Proton make our game libraries fully compatible with linux, we nay have some issues but otherwise, its completely possible, and you dont have to pay for Lutris and Proton comes with Steam

Actually the actual steam build "demo" seems to works with proton 4.11-5.

I'd reckon it does. We are only missing crapload of cub files and such. Engine works fine.

I have linux mint and I cannot run the game with proton 3.7-8 | 3.16-9 | 4.2-9 | 4.11-6 on steam... WTF????
