Well, in the one you do everything with very few limits, in the other one you do the fight part of the previous one with limitations like the region lock, a mini-game like in fact.
Graphics? Minecraft is a bit depressive but many textures packs to fix. The other game has good graphics.
If it pisses you off then you have some problems of your own to work on.

Cube World is one of reasons for my limited faith for Hytale. Big promises... high hopes... but until at least official beta will be released we can't tell anything for sure.
Actually there's not much games 'made of cubes' + 'open world' + 'real or semi-real MC killer'. However there are some games with wasted potential and those games could be something... but they are not.
Building (limited) was about to be in final release... but gone... for unknown reason. However building was present in alpha thanks to mod community. Of course, comparing to MC it was very limited version... but the major difference between CW and MC is commitment of creators.
I will hear no word against Pong. Football mode on a horizontal pub cabinet is the best game ever.
