Logitech G27 issues
I don't know if others are having issues with Logitech G27 on pc, but I have a over 2 hours in just trying to get the wheel setup to work properly. Now granted I have been playing Heat 2 for along time with the same wheel and I understand things change, but this is REALLY bad!! First off when I configure the controller in the game and save it, then go back to make adjustments it always shows 360 degree wheel instead of 900. In config mode I will make the slider adjustments and then test, anything just off center one way or the other makes the steering jump quickly to the max end. Obviously this makes the car steer very iradic. Also the brake sensitivity is horrible! Barely touch the brake and it will shoot to max. I have change the sensitivity to every possible position In the game, but it doesn't help. I have checked my other sims and the wheel is in perfect working condition in them. I see people are having issues with the G29 as well so I'm wondering if it's a compatibility issue with Logitech wheels or something?!? The game looks like a blast, if it would work right. If anyone is having the same issues or know of a fix, any help would be greatly appreciated!! I have never asked for a refund in the past, but if I can't play the game the way I would like to, I may have to.
Thank!!

The reason why you have this problem is that the game can only do 240 degrees!! I figured this out through trial and error.
Set your Logitech profiler to whatever you want your wheel to be (540, 900, etc.)
Then go into the game and set the range to 240..
Yes, that is correct.. You have to exit out and do it once or twice (it seems) before it will "set".

Now, check the sensitivity and you will see that your 900 degrees will be mapped throughout the complete range, and you will have smooth control. The drivers arms only go 0-240 so you won't see much movement.

I don't know why this was never brought up but I will say it again, the game can only turn 240 degrees!!

You can test this out by driving in a slow circle.. well, you know what to do..

Anyway, I hope this helps. It worked for me!

Regarding the brakes, YES THEY ARE TOO SENSITIVE. Turn these all the way down to the left or just a few notches from the left..

It also helps, AFTER you have done this, to go back into the key mappings, deleted the controls and re-map them.

If you do as I suggested, leave the deadzone to 0!! You don't want any deadzone in stearing.. I did add a little deadzone in the brakes.. but most importantly sensitivity down

Do you have another controller (like an xbox controller) plugged into your computer at the same time? If so, try unplugging it and restarting the game.. then setup the wheel.

If you want to use 900 degree rotation set it to 180 degrees rotation in the game I had the same problem with my g27. It's backwards for some reason

Thanks Voltaj!!
I will most definitely give this a try when I get home later and report back. Hopefully 704 will come out with a hot fix SOON to fix some of the sensitivity issues!

I went through this process and discovered that 240 works just fine. 180 will work, but the point is that the game doesn't seem to be able to turn the wheel farther than 240 (total rotations, or +/- 120)..
I can set my wheel outside of the game to anything I want, and my wheel will actually turn that many degrees, but if I don't set the in-game setting to 240 (or less) I will never get the car to turn it's full range unless I screw with the range, which should be maximum.

Applied Voltaj's fix and it works much, much better for sure!!!! I can actually control the car now. If you are having issues check out the new thread that Voltaj create that outlines everything step by step. If you take the time to do this correctly you will have MUCH more enjoyment playing this game with out a doubt! Thanks again to Voltaj for this fix!!
