which is what people would hope get a lot of fixes for with the 1.0 update, but it was a pretty minor update in comparison to other updates.
- Incredibly buggy and can completely ruin your progress. At the moment anything sending you to jail breaks the game and since some things that send you to jail only happen after you slept and the game saved it will ruin a save.
- The game feels half-assed and half finished for everything except the building and the scrap collecting. Mechanics are meaningless hygene/bladder/calories never really come into play, NPCs are lifeless apart from their basic functions.
- The game starts off looking and feeling like a very different type of game with tasks, jobs and a world to interact with. By the time you realise that what you have seen in the first two hours or so is all there is to that aspect, you are already past the refund mark.
Please do report issues to me, greg@misnkworks.net. I love this game and want to make it as best as it can be, but I'm just one person and I cannot fix issues that I'm not aware of. All feedback is listened to and taken onboard!
Thank you for your support, I'm trying really hard to address all the complaints and fix the issues.
REALLY appreciate this reply. I did buy the game to try out.
What this means is that often games with lots of character like Landlord's Super end up with a thumbs down review simply because despite my love for them, I found them to be overly-frustrating or just severely under-polished.
I do think that it is possible to enjoy this game and get a decent amount out of it, but the risk of running into game-breaking or similar issues is so high that I would not tell a friend of mine to spend any money on it until it was fixed.
With that, if the game sees significant repairs, I'll update my review justly.
Just my two cents.
How old is this save data? Did you start a new save on the release date? Do you have Kapersky anti-virus? Please send your save data to greg@minskworks.net
Please, I understand frustrations, but leaving a negative review means the game just dies as I can't afford to support it. I'm one guy working on this, it's not exactly a popular game and I'm doing the best I can to keep it alive and supported.
If you get a bug, don't leave a negative review, get in touch with me, let me know what the issue is and I'll fix it as fast as I can.
So far I had no hard game breaking bugs but given that i only recently discovert this game everything is still in the open.
I would be interreseted whats still in the works for this game, i read somewhere vehicles might be an option. But i havend found a "Roadmap" neither here on steam nor on discord.
I’ve played most Sim games and found that this one is a fantastic experience where you get really motivated to finish the house.
Worth the money and if there was an expansion I’d snap it up.
This also happened to me unfortunately, I'm glad i'm not the only one!
