Brick Wall Frame Issues

I've been trying to do a full brick build house but I can't seem to be able to put mortar or bricks over the top of the window frames, I've tried both when there is a window screwed in and when there isn't one. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

I'm having the same issues, built nearly all the way to the top of a window frame and the half mortar and full mortar will not go onto the bricks.

It worked for me (on the ground floor) when the windows were in place and secured, but not before. I have not tried a brick frame on any upper floor. You might try saving the game and restarting. That fixes lots of weird, random issues in this game.

Still the same issue, I give up with this game. I have spent over 100 hours playing and not once have I managed to complete a house because of some issue. Shame because I love the game

The tops of windows can be a bit of a pain, they have to be fully screwed in to take the mortar, and placing the mortar is a bit hit and miss, I've had a few difficulties getting it to place properly, but it does go on eventually...

This issue is fixed for me now, might be worth trying again to see if it's still happening.

I managed to do it but not with the windows I wanted, but I finally built my first house. Although seem a bit tucked up by the council cos they only gave me just over £3000 but the notebook said it was worth 8
