No-fines concrete IRL
I have never heard of no-fines, and I thought it was either something British or something made up for the game. However, it is a real thing. "No-fines" means no fine aggregates, i.e., sand.

Right. From what I am reading, the low weight of no-fines concrete allows it to be used for walls using just steel meshwork to hold it in place. It is too weak to bear a load on its own, though.

Reading about the UK, this "clinker" construction was very popular mid-20th century as it was cheap and allowed for fast rebuilding after World War Two.
