Repairing plasterboard damage

Is there a way to repair this or i am expected to replaster the entire house every 7 days.

Yeah this does seem odd that after 3 to 7 days of rental you have to demolish half the house. Why bother?

You can just throw new plasterboard over the old stuff without having to remove it. It's weird but at least it's quick and it even magically keeps the old wallpaper. But yeah, plasterboard definitely breaks too quickly.
