Report a translation problem
You should just choose maps that you're comfortable with, that you already know how to develop, step by step.
It shouldn't take 8 hours, maybe between 3-5 hours. When you already finish developing your map you can just start skipping waves (make sure your weapons are fully loaded and/or sufficiently cooled). And you don't have to do it in one sitting.
by the end though, there were about 700 enemy units spawning on each wave. kinda gotta babysit it for a bit till you get the rythim. took me about 11 hours including all the set up.
