How to invite a mobile player to my game

I've found my friend on mobile and me on pc can join the same dedicated server. But I cannot figure out how to invite them to my game on pc if that's even possible. Is there a way for me to host a game to them?

Invitations is only needed for hidden games. Just host and make sure your not hidden in your options. To prevent others from joining, just crank down the player limit to 2. If someone gets in before your friend, hit tab and ban the, or hit T and ask then to leave if you want to be polite.

Even a mobile player will see it? I thought that was a steam thing.

No, that's the problem.

On default, Mindustry client can only join games that are hosted on local network and steam network (if it's the steam version).

If you want to make your own server over the internet, you need a static IP, and you need to do some port forwarding.
