A plague tale innocence from Epic store

I should probably have dived into this sooner. This game appears to be free up till today at epic store. The 8th of August. Only found out last night and started downloading it. HelixVision seems to have trouble detecting it. When I try to add it manually it says the profile already exists. The fix of DHR still works when following his guide. And I've managed to get the SBS shader going with Virtual Desktop. Problem is that any custom resolution above 1080p gives poor performance and is not a good alternative even with motion smoothing.

So far this game really impressed me. I remembered seeing it on the curated list so I had to try it out. Would it work if I edit the exe? What exe name is HelixVision looking for?

Okay the problem was simple. Just had to edit the info.ini in the profile folder.

installDirName=APlagueTale
relativeGameIniPath=C:\Users\%%%%%%\Documents\My Games\A Plague Tale Innocence\ENGINESETTINGS

The game performs really well and looks great at 1080p full resolution! Will make a video for this one. Quality absolutely insane.

Correction: For those interested its still free until the 12th 11:00AM ET along with Minit.

I cant believe they would make such a game free. Definitely one of the best games I've played so far. So glad its working with HelixVision and pretty user friendly apart from the detection. Was not expecting such a master piece.

Is it greyed out?

In the play tab right next to "Uninstall 3d Fix" you will see "profile folder". Click on it and it will open the folder with the info.ini
Open that and change the necessary settings:

installDirName=APlagueTale

relativeGameIniPath=C:\Users\%%%%%%\Documents\My Games\A Plague Tale Innocence\ENGINESETTINGS

Make sure to follow the instructions of DHR.

If you don't see "profile folder" it means you are not in "hacker mode".

Go to the "settings" tab.
Click on subsequent "Application Settings" tab.
In top "General settings" box change "Use program for" to "3D Vision (Hacker mode)".

But you are picking it up so I assume you are in hacker mode. If its greyed out its because of those "factory" paths that needs to change. Steam and Epic use different paths and I dont understand why HeliXVision didnt recognise the EXE thats the same...
