sweeeeeeeet.
I was about to ask the same, because if the game doesn't allow VR, at least I want to check to play it in 3D.
Ok I will wait to see this. But please give an update to inform it, at least here as minimum heheh
cheers!
There are other 3D techniques that can work, and for DX12 we might try to cheat it a bit like Helifax's Vulkan wrapper. Requires in-game memory modding but would work here.
Just to set expectations- this will be measured in years, not months.
We had a similar problem with Arkham Knight where the game devs went insane and generate shaders on the fly. That meant that some 200,000 shaders were live at once, which is not something we could fix manually like we had been doing. However, then DarkStarSword added a regex ability to 3Dmigoto, which allowed us to specify fixing patterns, and also thus fix them on the fly. Took three years after release, but we did ultimately get a stunning 3D fix for the game. And have the added benefit of the game actually is no longer a dog like it was at release. You might recall the fiasco at launch.
So, we should never be counted out, but it can take us quite a long time. All I can say is, ♥♥♥♥'s hard. We aren't the only ones who want to play in geo-3D though, so this one is more likely to get attention.
If you can't wait, play it now in cyclops or maybe depth buffer 3D, and then do a second playthrough in the future. In a couple of years it'll be like a new game.
I saw online somewhere that there is a functional wrapper to play 2077 in VR. Some have it up and running in Superdepth 3D but it looks more like compatibility mode 3D.
2 ways to go about playing 2077 in 3D.
A 3DTV with 2D->3D conversion, a panasonic 3D plasma or LG 3D tv
or
Install Reshade and use Superdepth. See this thread:

Done holding your hand.
What i need is something like geometric 3D with a 3Dfix or vorpx in G3D Mode.
