Finally got this one working. 4everawake recommended it on the obscure indie game forum page of nvidia. But I battled to get it working and gave up. Now its working in HelixVision and I made a recording that I will share pretty soon. It uses an unique render technique that's very satisfying. Its actually very short but nice in VR.

Lego: The hobbit
Remember the first time I tested it it crashed. It seems it works now pretty good without the fix. Only problem with this game is that the convergence is sometimes too high. Awesome game with iconic music! Very adventurous.

The Walking Dead 3: A New Frontier
This was the first in the series I got to work but it was no quick experiment. It works really well when it works and I wish I could pinpoint the problem. From reverting to older 425 driver to trying every single setting in HV, to deleting the profile with inspector. I had to because when I initially launched it it worked. After a crash it just stopped and took me 5 hours to get it working again.
It would be great to have them all on the curated list.

Brother's, A Tale of Two Sons
Game works stunning with 2k DSR. The UI is a bit broken. But there aren't much to change.

Grid 2
I used 3D migoto's d3dx to activate "run = CustomShader3DVision2SBS" and played through Virtual Desktop. The game doesn't render well in the HMD. But didn't spend a lot of time trying different options.
Lara Croft & the Tempel of Osiris
There are many things broken and not rendering right. Some settings have to be turned of like shadows. I've also managed to get 2K DSR to work and the game does look very good and is playable! The convergence also needs to get a button assigned for cut scenes. Otherwise it will break your eyes. Also need to align the convergence with Lara's circle around her to have it flush with the surface she'e walking on. Seems like this texture is the same as water and cant be edited individually or something.

Never alone (Kisima Ingitchuna)
Game works pretty well. The UI just a bit broken like the others.

Listed games that are broken for me in Mixed Reality
Half Life 2 Update
Ori and The blind Forest
Looks like it supports both DX9 and DX11 modes. Might be worth experimenting with. Since it supports 3D Vision natively, you can create a HelixVision profile that has the UsesDirect3D flag set. See the Tomb Raider profile for an example.
I will give it a go thank you for the response. I have one other tiny issue, Monster Hunter World doesnt work anymore with the program it injects but when I press F11 nothing.
The Sturmovik has not 3D Fix, so not one that will presently work.
Even though both of these have VR modes, it sounds like you are wanting to use the 3DFM mode of HelixVision instead. Should work fine with the same caveats that the fixes might be broken by updates.
Anyways, I didn't see any issues. Looks fine in VR. Not great like Wonder Boy. This highlights that although both are 2D scrolling games, one could look fantastic in 3D in VR and the other just so so. I think a lot of it has to do with the art style and lighting within the game. With the correct use of light you can just make images pop in VR (or art style).
As for the game itself, turn off all shadows in the settings. The game looks good. I wish there were VR games like this. There is one big issue though, the aim reticle seems to be off in 3D and you will be missing a lot. I changed difficulty to easy to somewhat counter that issue.
If you or others create HelixVision profiles that are functional, you can email them to me at <helixvision@bo3b.net>. Thanks.
