We don't know yet,one theory that a lot of people have is that the MC saw him in the pictures with Bella and because he was drunk af he had a hallucination and saw him there.Others think that he was actually there that night. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm of the mind set of a drunken hallucination. I mean, hell, every photo frame in the house is face down. Also, during Bella's night time self-release; the frame on her night stand is laying face down. She also says that her husband has been gone for three-years.
So, he's either dead or left her. And she's so broken that she hasn't come to terms with it. ... or his corpse is in the locked room and if the MC gets too much closer (we have another Acting Lesson moment).

Nah, that's not likely. The dev wouldn't want his games to get typecast, so it's unlikely he'll put in the exact same kind of situation. Then again, you never know...

For once you and I agree. lol I highly doubt she's gonna turn out to be a psycho. She may take the opposite turn however and go suicidal. Can't say for sure yet but there's a reason the MC thinks "He would have called out for help".

Bella seems very dedicated to her marriage, there is the locked door that may have something to do with him being gone...
She mentions at one point of forgiving him.
She mentions as well to come home, it's been long enough. (which adds more questions than it answers.)
I do agree that the figure seen in the MC's drunken roaming of the house may be something he saw, he just ended up thinking that the mannequin was a someone... guilty thing going on being that he is in a married woman's house. Who knows, lets face it, this guy needs to stop drinking.

I think the locked door may be a nursery, something he did possibly caused the child to die? Accident that occurred but the guilt made him leave. Was it possibly an infidelity while they were trying to have a child together. May be none of those... Not sure really, they left a lot of room there for speculation because we just don't get to know a lot about her past.
