It could be as simple as Jill taking the whole thing badly like we have already seen.
It could be that Bella's husband will return and cause issues in the future.
Or it could be more ominous...
We assume that Bella's husband is gone because she caught him in a transgression or something, but what if he fled, because she is really crazy!
What if his transgressions were all in her nutty head and she started acting out on them so he left for his own safety and the innocent female students around him?
What if Bella has some sort of obsessive compulsive disorder and once she fixates on the MC she will start to be overprotective and lash out at his friends when she sees them as a threat?
We have seen Bella being overprotective with Jill.
Will MC become a victim leaving MJ and Derek to save him with the help of Jill, or will he be a happy submissive Stepford wife for Bella?
Will he have a real shrew to tame?
What if Bella becomes Jill and MC's bully?
it's not a far stretch to see Bella as Tybalt's online stalker, Fakebalt... who is a bully.
Bella could very easily be a bully and I love the way it fits with Jill's anti-bully plot.
We assume it was from past bullying, but what if deep down, Jill still feels like she is being bullied (because she is) by those around her, like Bella?
I agree and have also thought that Bella is Tybalt's online bully. When asked in the car, she did not deny it. Also, has anyone else noticed that "Holier than thou Hilda" (who fired Bella from her Library job), looks exactly like the teacher from Tybalt's presentation, and who donated money to Jade for Cathy's farewell gift.
Concerning Lougojira's Hypnotism comments, I totally agree. My fear arises from the ease that DPC manipulated my emotions, (although I enjoyed it), and the girls stuck in my head long after I finished the current story. I've told several dental assistants in the past, that I enjoy being manipulated if done artfully....LOL.
Holy cow...those are some VERY thought-provoking insights! And because I think Isabella is hotter than a flow of lava, I really hope you're wrong about all but one of them; I hope it really is just a matter of not wanting to risk hurting sweet little Jill.
If you're right about any other possibility, I'll still love the game, but all my drooling over Isabella will come to a screeching halt. She may have a body out of west hell and the sexual prowess to match, but insanity would just ruin all of it.
I've thought about that too...but honestly I'm leaning more in Sally's direction for that. Sally has made fun of Tybalt's teeth, and she even imagined him as being horse-headed when he interrupted the second game of Dungeons & Gremlins.
One of the clucks was very specifically about his teeth...and then when you see how she conducts herself at the gaming table, and toward our boy whenever he's tried talking to her, I think the wording of the clucks are more in line with Sally's overall personality.
For instance...
Josy: "What does DM mean?"
Sally: "Dungeon Master...try to keep up."
Isabella even said that she's not too big on social media, and simply looks at it more than actually uses it for anything. Of course that knowledge alone got me paranoid about what all Isabella had seen or not seen out of our boy on Rooster when I was playing her path.
I really would like to know why Isabella loathes Tybalt to the extent that she does though. Sure he's shallow, spoiled, and all-around annoying...he really does have a punchable face too...but why a woman old enough to be his mother hates his guts the way she does is a little bit baffling. Why doesn't she just write him off and ignore him? There's a bit of cattiness there that almost implies scorned woman syndrome...but the idea of Tybalt breaking Isabella's heart or anything along those lines is ludicrous.
I hear you Brother! I'm hoping for something along those lines as well.
True, she didn't deny it, but if social media is that insignificant to her, she may have figured it wasn't worth a response either.
Hmmm...I never caught that, but you could be right. I did however notice a pretty strong similarity between Derek and John Boy. I also noticed that the same skin/texture has been used on our boy, Tommy, and Leon (looks for the tiny horizontal line on their left cheek).
I don't hold it against the good Doctor for getting more mileage out of his assets though...those DAZ items can get pretty costly VERY quickly! Truth be told, I think catching things like that just adds to the overall charm of the game, weird as that might sound.
LOL Very true...very true. It's been a heck of a ride so far. 👍
Bella with social media is interesting in this game. It would seem like she wouldn't care about it, but she does. She's always there to post a comment with Jill, and by the end of Season 2, she was posting pics (sort of a personality breakthru for her). I thought it signaled a softening of her personality, like some of her shields were beginning to come down as a result of MC's influence (only if on Bella's route).
Why does she care about Tybalt? I guess she just finds him to be a despicable person, as I think we all do, and feared that Jill could fall for his bullsh*t. There's no way Tybalt has given up on Jill...I'm afraid that his next plan will be much better than his first one.
Honestly, at first I felt a tad bit sorry for Tybalt, but he has to have a special level of head-in-the-clouds willful stupidity to not see the painfully obvious when it comes to Jill. And once he started blackmailing Jill, any hint of sympathy I ever had for the pompous knucklehead went out the window.
You could be right about Isabella's hate for Tybalt being born out of her protecting Jill. But I'm also starting to think that maybe, just maybe in Isabella's mind, her hatred of Tybalt is a way to indirectly lash out at Stephen. A sort of guilt by association thing.
Even though I think she's pretty, I think a good woman for Tybalt would be Becky. His shallowness and her snottiness would fit together so nicely. They could be the couple other couples try to avoid, but at least they'd have each other.
Hmm Becky and Tybalt could work, but would their couple name be Tybacky or Bebalt?
Yeah you are right, they would never get together.
I guess it was just the idea of that wacky Tybacky (that I'm definitely not smoking) that got me thinking it could work...
Oh man...I hadn't thought that far ahead about Becky and Tybalt LOL...but sadly I have thought a bit ahead for Isabella and I believe you have got a solid point. The potential, at least, is there for things to go South with Isabella...but to be fair we're only eight episodes in and it's possible for multiple characters to do a 180 on us before everything is said and done. I'm going to stay positive though...or rather try to think positive.
True...I just see it as a matter of Becky and Tybalt somehow waking up in the same bed after separate nights of debauchery...maybe Jill and Maya could've worked on a prank together or something...and Tybalt believing he's had the best magical night of love-making possible to mankind, and then pledging his undying love and devotion to Becky. She's weirded out about it at first, but then sees it as an opportunity to climb some social ladders herself.
As for a couple name...I'm thinking with the money, power, and social standing being a sort of trifecta, they could call themselves The TyBeckta...
...and of course other couples will continue to avoid them. ;-)
I think there is potential for relationships to go South with all the MG's. At the same time, I think there is a potential happy ending with each. I guess I'll be the eternal optimist here, but why not? I've driven on "Bumpy Roads" before, it's not that bad. Just need to slow down and be more careful.
Seriously, if you were a game designer, would you create a path that had no hope for success?
That's a good question because that would depend on what constitutes success with the players and/or Dr. Pinkcake. Without naming outside games, one game immediately comes to mind where you end it on a suicide mission...no lie, your character willfully dies as he takes out the final boss, and then the credits roll. Not a happy ending by any means, but it was necessary to solve the problem...so on the one hand you had a sense of accomplishment, but then on the other you also had a sense of loss. Talk about bittersweet!
May God forbid it happen this way...but what if our boy may suffer a sense of loss, losing out on a meaningful relationship with a particular lady, only to get emotionally stronger from the loss, and then move on to a better and more meaningful relationship with another lady in the long run? It could happen...but I REALLY hope it doesn't.
And to answer your question if I were a game designer? Oh man...that one got the noggin joggin'...I'll have to get back with you on that later. :-)
