Is Season 2 Main girl choice final?

So, peeking ahead I get that we have to make a choice among the main girls we're dating at the end of Season 2, and I also get that picking the Others option opens up the road to pick girls outside of them in the future that we've gotten close with, like say Quinn, but as I'm currently going through being outside the Maya & Josey relationship right now (needed that Jade video) and getting serious hints they might reconsider letting me back in as I work hard to stay on their good sides during Season 2 I'm sort of feeling unsure where they fit in that scenario being main romance options but not ones I can pick at this point.

That left me thinking and being hopeful that all the girls can still be viable maybe if I pick others at the end, including the main ones? Thoughts on this theory, because I certainly hope I'm not locked out of going back to any of them in Season 3 if I do choose not to commit yet, because right now it still feels too soon to settle, and because I don't want to lock myself out completely to future content and options, which is why I chose this current path but in return I'm worried at the prospect of being cut off from the big four completely at the end if it doesn't work out with any of the remaining romance options 😕

Please use white space to break down longer items into paragraphs.

And "We don't know" ... DPC isn't in a habit of sharing out his storylines with folks (no real surprise there :) ) - so it COULD be just a "oh, I *INTEND* to pursue X..." or it could be "Yup, trying to lock myself in..."

... just make multiple saves, for your desires/needs, and see how it goes, as new Seasons come out.

And yeah I plan on doing that, some I can't help due to affinity requirements and stuff of course, and I get the point of locking us into one of the big four to see how well we can maintain a relationship in Season 3. But the Others option is the one I'm currently going back and forth with given how uncertain and fluid that leaves things 😅

We don't know. The one thing that is for certain is that this game is meant to be played multiple times, not just 1 PT.

I do get that given the affinity aspect but it feels like the ending of Season 2 should be a benchmark so I don't have to completely restart a third time (have to redo a second to get enough Chick and enable Maya & Josy relationship). Like I don't want to go on the Sage Path only for that relationship to completely blow up because my ♥♥♥ Path made me screw her mother, or if some of the Other relationships don't work out that I be completely alone by the end of the game for that save just because I wanted more options for scenes 😅

Well - you can still be on the D**-path and not mess with Jade.

But well reminded - I did want to have 2 separate saves, one for Sage *WITH* and one for Sage WITHOUT shacking up with Jade as a D** ... don't want to miss out on THAT whole thing coming to light (over whatever family dinner or whatnot) ... as it inevitably would :).

Its a choice based game, if you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ her mom thats on you and you'll have to bear the consequences :P

I have more pts then the S3 transfer screen allows, so its not that bad if you enjoy the game.

So you basically made 5 saves 🤣 And yeah I got floored when I skipped ahead to the ending for 8 (haven't looked between though to avoid too many spoilers). That being said it just doesn't seem right to be on the D** Path and not go with Jade while sacrificing Josy and Maya in the process for now, what's the point of the D** path if not to jump at every opportunity? Restraint is for Chicks 😉

Keelah, how did you make so many already? Unless you've been playing patreon version before S2 hit steam.

Yeah i have patreon aswell, but luckily S3 will be the first time where you can use the saves of both. In the case i mentioned i'm only talking about steam saves, after playing patreon i deleted all of them and made some very specific routes that i wanted to explore, and so far i've not been disappointed yet :P

I mean that's fine and that's what making the choice/commitment should be. My main anxiety relies on the Others option though, because what does that mean? All the main girls are permanently out, and we have no romances and only sidechick scenes? Or does full bloom romance options exist for all the secondary partners, and if so which ones? What about the non-Maya and Josy relationship teaser hope? So many questions I have for what happens in that option 😅

if you've been playing the patreon version, you'd know as of today Josy and Maya are, in fact not the only triangle relationship after all

Not sure what that last statement is trying to imply. All platforms Patreon/Steam/GOG are the same game. There are no game/story differences. The only differences are more cosmetic like achievements and guide integration.

The main "difference" if any would be the communities and the forum method they use to discuss the game.
