Josy, Maya Solo...?
I read a few times that you can get Josy solo, not sure if that goes for Maya as well, and I am curious as to how that's possible and what the fallout is for Maya, Derek...

Thanks..

There is no way to pick just Josy or just Maya at the end of Episode 8. However, there are two ways it may be possible to end up with only one of them in the future.

#1) Be a part of their relationship, but heavily favor one girl over the other. Doing this will make things rocky with the one you aren't doing things with. For example, if you "try for something more" but dodge every single scene possible with one of them, as early as the ending of Episode 7 Josy will already not be holding your hand when you enter the gym (which she normally does when in the relationship) if you're going for Maya. Maya also does far less at the water park if you didn't get her Episode 7 scene in favor of doing something with Josy.

#2) Stay friends in Episode 4. But then in Episode 5 tell Derek you still have feelings for one of them. Always do extra activities with that girl and gain as much RP as possible. If you get the decision and the Others option is available, it's possible a solo route could open with one of them. That girl will also flash in the black and white images if you have a decision to make (such as Sage/Others).

Neither of these guarantee a solo route, but there are signs it may be possible. I really dislike being an extra rift in their relationship, but if you really want to go that route it's up to you. Everyone should "follow their heart" I suppose.

I really don't see that happening short of a "Acting Lessons" type of event. I really wouldn't want to see happen to one of them. They seem to vested in each other for that to happen.

Thankyou very much for all that information.. It's mostly that I had heard it mentioned a few times and was quite curious as to how, and how far it went. I wasn't really planning on doing, at least not yet, it was more just curiosity...

I guess if this IS going to be an option, then it will be expanded on in Ep3... I'll keep a note on this...

Thanks again...

I know very little about "Acting Lessons".. I bought it, and quickly refunded it.. I got as far as the first lewd scene, a handjob I believe, and was far from impressed with the animation..

I have no idea if it improves beyond that, this wan't very far in at all..

Pantherr, Acting Lessons is worth it, even if only for the story.

Yes I have to agree. It is a very engaging story, some really top notch writing there.

I'll take your word for it on that, considering the writing and the story in this... Maybe I'll try it again one day, if I can find out more about it first...

It really is a great story, especially if you have no preconceptions about the story before you start. The less you know the better the story unfolds!!!

Good to know, will keep that in mind..

Yeah man, go in blind. I do that every time, and it's always paid off.

Absolutely +1 to this.

DPC's games are ALWAYS worth to play through once or twice "absolutely blind" (since there's usually at least 2 very distinct paths) ... and THEN figuring out what you missed out on.

Unlikely. Since S1 ending they're together and even with obstacles still appearing between them (like HOTs situation or Patrick's sudden visit) they're working through it and stay together. Even if they'll be somehow forced apart, I don't think either of them would get into another relationship. Not for a long time, at least. And IIRC you can only bed Josy at some point while not being in their relationship and she'll end up hating you.

I didn't even know that it was possible to bed Josy if not in their relationship..

Sure, you can load up their RP's and not be on their path. They are in love with you just not in a relationship. This might have some effect in later chapters or not... no idea.

I always try to load up on RP with all the characters even if I am not on their path. Never know how this will change future events. Never hurts to be on someones good side!!!

They will even tell you that at the end of the Prep Mansion party section if you have good RP with both and are not in a relationship. If you watch both scenes, they tell you they still have the hots for you.
