I saw the scene and it was very meaningful but I felt the stage performance was just as meaningful. She was asking me to flake out on a sick friend for a last-minute ride we could just as easily do the next day - I would have thought the integrity I showed by not flaking on my friend would mean something, too.
Oh i didn't know that. Ok I take it back LOL
If this were real life I'd say I dodged a bullet; if the girl I liked wanted me to choose between helping a sick friend or hanging out with her (when we're not even a couple, yet), I'd drop her in a minute. Why would she want someone who'd break their word and ditch a friend like that?
Depending on your Playthrough options, you can tell sage you don't want to get sick and don't help her. It's only a problem if you promise to come and don't. In real life we call those BBD (Bigger Better Deals). Pulling a BBD on someone will make them upset.
Don't want to hurt Jill, don't pursue her. Don't want to hurt Sage, don't promise to come. The glory of multiple playthroughs. Trying to harem a non-harem game is one's downfall.
Play Acting Lessons for a.... lesson...
Nobody thinks that any more than they think Commander Shepard is really them just because they control the character and make the decisions for them. When playing the game, one still tends to refer to their character as 'me' whether it's modeled after them or not.
Also, those answers are all coppouts - 'You don't want to disappoint Jill, don't pursue her', BS, by that logic nobody could ever casually date anyone and you'd have to simply decide whether you wanted to date someone the moment you met them. Forking nonsense.
Also, Acting Lessons is dated and looks terrible.
AL is DPC's first game, sure the graphics are older., but the story is stellar. People stuck on graphics snobbery are missing out.
Graphics snobbery is kind of important in a pron game.
Enjoy!
I wasn't aware the team for a Pron game were so disdainful of the people who buy pron games - I'll keep that in mind when making my future purchases.
