Why I hate Maya.

Let's start a dialogue of everyone opinions of each of the girls. (Don't forget the side characters)! Let me know if I missed a girl, although if I did, she wasn't memorable.

Maya - Very basic "girl next door" look. Her hair is so fluffed, it makes her head look abnormally large. Honestly, my least favorite of all of them, even Arieth. She lies about a relationship, acts like her homosexuality is still taboo. Especially considering this game HEAVILY implies that gender/sex/sex preference norms are fluid in this game, so her acting like she'll be judged for being gay (Til you convert her), astounds me. She expects you to be 100% honest with her no matter what. Yet she can't be bothered to do the same for you, unless she needs something from you. Note, even if you go full chick path, she doesn't tell you crap until AFTER she's received bad news from BOTH her father and Brother. She's a real piece of trash, this one. A real Ana. At least Ana was hotter.

i just hope he can give the current girls some really redeeming qualities first off. lmao. i mean let's face it. the only one that is relationship material is jill. the others are to untrustworthy, shady, have mental issues, or is just being goofy for a jock. lol.

i mean look at it this way. when a HOT sorority girl can make you sound like a hypocrite then you are doing something wrong. you do remember the scene i'm talkijng about right? at the start of episode 2 at the party melanie and sarah say that maya is being a hypocrite because maya was saying how women use their bodies to get what they want and maya used her body to get you distracted to be drug to the ♥♥♥-petition

or remember in the very beginning when she was introducing the soroity she called them a bunch of sluts. yet now she is willing to do all of it just because she wants more money.
and how josy threw tommy's name out just so she could get free money knowing that it could be used against her and tommy.

Ya I stood up for Maya in the spot you referenced, but only because 1.) she gave me a place to stay and 2.) Derek was standing right there and I wasn't going to let my dude down. Otherwise I didn't disagree with what they were saying. :)

No question about it - Maya is a deceitful hypocrite. That's why I've basically tossed her by the wayside - very disappointed in her character.

like i said josy isn't any better. and isabella you have to get to close to for jill but once that scene in the library happened i would not have pushed it further irl. i maybe would have tried to continue being her friend and helping her to solve her issues but not be in a relationship.

and if you go sage route then that obviously wasn't going to be a relationship because she is so hung up on chad it's beyond stupid. lol, so like i said. the only relationship is jill so i'm hoping the girls get some redeeming qualities in the second season.
or just have all of season 2 be will jill. hehe. either way works.

I agree on Josy. She's in the same boat as Maya for me.

well jill is technically the only one who isn't in a relationship. lol. i mean maya and josy are together. sage is with chad. and bella is married as well. or so she says at least so technically she would be off limits as well.

Bella, since she's a "faculty member" would be tougher to manage the relationship with, it'll have its own unique pitfalls because of that status differential - she couldn't come to parties (nor would she want to), and any kind of dedicated relationship with her would have to be kept quiet for obvious reasons.

My hope is that the dev may introduce some new girls, or make some of the current "side characters" into romance options. I've seen some want Riona, I wouldn't mind seeing Mona or Sarah be more developed and have the MC in situations where he has to get closer to them, etc. and I'm sure other people have their own. I've seen some folks want the feminist Dany to be an option, too. That would open up more possibilities for the player.

or if he does introduce new girls just make sure they aren't in relationships or have mental issues. we have enough cheating whures around here already. lol

right. i mean i have my neutral save that is with maya and josy but i will play that last. first play will be jill. then sage. then bella. then maya and josy.

I would totally date the ♥♥♥♥ out of Camila because I get the feeling she's actually a really nice girl based on how she is with Mona. I'd be willing to ignore her prostituting herself out because I'm open minded sometimes. Too bad she's a side girl and not important as of yet.

now if camila stopped prostituting then i would date her. but if she wouldn't be willing to give that up then i wouldn't date her.

Ya that's the issue with a bunch of the current side girls is they're all w hores...like rudabega has layed out, most of the girls aren't real relationship options, so outside of Jill, you're better off just keeping a buncha condoms handy and going to town on anything that moves until some better options come along.
