Based on the info you've provided me, my conclusion is that your persistent file seems botched somehow. Perhaps a mismatch between steam cloud, local save folder and roaming folders caused it, or a game crash at some point.
If this is the case, the only way to fix it is sadly to replay with a fresh persistent file.
I would say that you could add the "botched" persistent file back after unlocking the achievement, if you want to restore the galleries etc. But that's your call.
Send me the file through Discord if you want me to verify your problem with it.
1. You didn't have the achievement unlocked for finding all S2 renders, as you said.
2. All criteria to see those renders checked out. Meaning, I could trigger the function and get it to unlock the achievement on my end.
3. I cannot see the following: If you had console enabled or developer mode enabled. Both of which disables achievements and are modifications of the game files as I asked you previously.
Since it worked on my end, it leads me to believe that you have an enabled console, but you said you didn't.
How to fix it:
1. Open the game in one episode 7 or 8 with the new phone. Open the Stats app once. Achievement should unlock immediately, as all criteria in a non-modified game are met.
2. If 1. doesn't work, make a backup of your save files and wipe the installation directory. Manually remove any traces of files in the steam install folder. Make a fresh install of the game. Put your save files back into it. Try 1 again. It should work now.
Cheers!
To add to this, the achievements that I got in the hours leading up to these problems did still unlock so somewhere in between there has to have been a moment, where I apparently have enabled something then. Thats all I can think about.
