DPC has put a lot of effort giving hints to the player about the effect of his actions, not only on Jill but also for every character in game. He uses body language and face expressions to deliver the message that you can get completely wrong if you only read the lines, of play the game with the wrong approach.
I mean, this isn't the only AVN game where the characters show how they feel (when you pick certain choices/doing certain things) with their facial reactions and such.
It ain't that deep and DPC wasn't the first person to do these things. People should be able to play whichever way they want, there shouldn't be a "wrong approach" again, it ain't that deep, it's an AVN.
Certain characters will be tied to D.I.K, C.H.I.C.K or Neutral Affinity. You can find walkthroughs/guides that explain this and how to get with the characters, you just have to look for it (not talking about the bought walkthroughs either)
I think Bella is another C.H.I.C.K Affinity person but can't 100% confirm since I dropped the game and don't play it anymore.
and that is relevant to my point how?
My point is that people being unable to get into Jill's path as ♥♥♥ wouldn't be surprised if they pay enough attention to the hard-to-miss signals that she gives to the player to let him know that he's going on the wrong track.
You can play whatever way you want, you just need to be prepared to face the consequences of making the choices that a particular character doesn't like.
You're right, there is no "wrong approach", playing as ♥♥♥ you can get closer to Sage that is not a bad choice by any means. Simply be prepared that BaDIK MGs are not the typical brain dead bimbos that are the usual fodder in the rest of the AVNs.
So, if you are Neutral going into ep7, you might not have the right counts to become D, etc
1st) I haven’t played this since ‘22 so I was just asking to see if maybe DPC changed or tweaked the affinity since then. Mainly considering the main girl would have you become a total p***y. (This is just me personally how I feel)
2nd) From what I remember I did have mostly ♥♥♥ affinity but still was able to have Jill and Isabelle trust me and open up to me to a certain extent to where I felt like I could still get with them. I’m actually surprised there was a season 3 because when I played it seemed like the game was over and there was no talks of there being a 3rd.
1) To believe that Jill is the only "Main Girl" in the game shows me that you're not paying attention, there are 5 MG, that have been explicitly established in the game.
a) To believe that Pink was going to tweak a game based in choices to then making these choices irrelevant now shows me that you're not paying attention.
b) To believe that CHICK affinity makes your MC a total ♥♥♥♥♥ is not paying attention
2) To believe that the MGs being friends with the MC could lead to an eventual romance with him, shows me that you're not paying attention.
Finally:
To believe that the end of S2 (where the MC just decides his romantic path for the rest of the game) was the end of the game clearly shows that you're not paying attention
There is not ONLY a S3 established, the game is going to be finished in S4.
Just pay attention.
Well, being a WRITTEN post, there is no way anyone can LISTEN to your senseless rant.
Pay attention...
