Chick Affinity

I started a chick play through and got as far as the final math test when I got my permanent affinity at the major choice in the bathroom. Problem is I started at chick affinity and when I found the answers in the bathroom my choices are to flush them or study them which is a major choice. I assume that flushing them is the chick choice and studying them is the d i k choice but when I flushed them it gave me a permanent neutral affinity. I did check the guide and it told me that flushing the answers gave me a permanent decrease to my d i k score and studying them would give me a permanent decrease to my chick score so why did it change my affinity to neutral when I flushed them. As far as I see it should have given me a permanent chick affinity. Is this a bug?

That just goes to show that you made too many D I K major choices. If you were set to be a permanent chick from the previous D I K choice you had made, then this wouldn't have happened.

You can only make a maximum of four major D.i.ck choices if you want permanent Chick affinity.
Even if you think that you are safely in Chick (or D.i.ck) territory, at the end of Season 8 you'll get a permanent Neutral affinity if you have made between five and ten major D.i.ck choices. Less than five D.i.ck choices will give you permanent Chick affinity, and more than 10 D.i.ck choices will give you permanent D.i.ck affinity.

OK I didn't think I made that many d i k choices but maybe I did. I guess I will have to go back redo some of my choices then. I already have a D I K and neutral play through so I want this chick one. Thank you for your responses :)

Pretty easy to keep track. It tells you how many of each you made in the episode summaries.

One thing to remember, there is an impact from so many choices, you won't see EVERYTHING without 20+ playthroughs. I don't think in terms of "going back", I think in terms of, "for my next playthrough..."

Having two or more of one choice than the other gives you that affinity while playing the game. For example, let's say you make your first two choices fighting Troy and accepting the number to Quinn's restaurant. You would then have D I K affinity. It would then take you four straight chick choices to achieve Chick affinity. Two to equalize against the D I K choices and two more to achieve Chick affinity. This continues like this through the game.
For permanent affinity you have to completely wipe out one of the sides of the major choice scale.
After the last major choice (test papers) if you have even just one segment left on both sides of the Major Choice scale you end up with neutral affinity. That is, you have to completely wipe out all the D I K segments to achieve Chick affinity.
You can keep track of the Major Choice scale on your phone in the Status app.

The magic number is 11. The first to get 11 choices D I K or Chick will perma in that affinity. If by the end of ep8, you don't have 11 in either, by default you are permaNeutral. (side note: status ie Massive, Huge, etc. doesn't matter).

There are 15 major choices, so this means you can make up to 4 opposing major choices and still achieve perma.

Whatever your "current" affinity is in the moment doesn't matter. Just the actually count of major choices.

The earliest you can perma is the end of ep6. When you do, the game auto-selects choices in ep7. In ep8, you get choices again, but they don't affect affinity.

The latest is midterms. Have care if you want to be a permaD and you DON'T want to cheat on the test, then you should perma beforehand so that you aren't forced to take the D I K option to become perma.

Ummm.... no. If you want perma chick you can't make more than 4 D I K majors. If you want perma D I K you can't make more than 4 chick majors as stated in the comment above yours. Don't give out false information
