Neither is better. They are just different. There are scenes unique to both paths.

It depends of what you seek and what women you want pursue. Personally, I prefer going CHICK because it's more like me and because I prefer the women that will only romance a neutral or CHICK character as they are of the more romantic kind: Jill, Bella, Josy and Maya. But if you want to romance Sage, Riona, Camila or Quinn, you have to go neutral or ♥♥♥ as they prefer bad boys type of character. That said, Sage romance seems to be fairly tender and loving itself despite prefering a more daring MC. I haven't tried her yet, but I've been impressed by her growing emotional maturity especially in episode 2. So, it's not black and white.

A lot of the ♥♥♥ choices are building a sarcastic, somewhat rebellious, somewhat passive-agressive or teasing character who is quite flirty and not very faithful.

Chick choices turn around being polite, empathetic, altruistic and faithful. That said, you can absolutely be a bit of both and still be able to romance almost any character. So, a grey character is entirely possible. It really is up to you.

You can pursue Isabella on a D*K run -- she seems mostly unaffected by affinity score.

To be clear the only girls that have absolute hard blocks for affinity for the routes are Jill and Quinn with opposing affinities blocked D I K for Jill and Chick for Quinn outside of those 2 none of the routes have any restrictions on affinity you can get specific choices are far more critical

Again status is not the same as affinity and affinity is all that matters and my previous post mentions the true restrictions there. Steam Forums get this wrong all the time and we have to reteach all the new patreon subs in the discord.

As S1 and S2 goes, there isn't a single lewd option that is tied to affinity for Sage, there are RP involved with D I K choices but aren't sex related.

You are not correct.
You can get all the MGs with Chick or Neutral.
You can only get Sage and Bella as a D I K.
Quinn only requires D I K in ep6, you can go neutral after if you want.
MJ requires Chick/Neutral in ep4, you can go D I K after if you want.
As for SGs, it depends on who you are pursuing. MJ and Jill will often block their scenes. For example, you can not have MJ and Jade. It has nothing to do with affinity.
You can use the restaurant with any affinity, so those are on the table. You can party without limits as well, so bring on the strippers.

In other words, you can "who re" it up with any affinity, its just the mix will vary a bit depending on who you are pursuing.

You are wrong about Sage, you can get Sage on a full Chick run(party in episode 7). Bella as well. There are some things that require going full D I K though.
