Are you still exited about season 3?

When first started playing this game i loved it.
After the the time passed i frankly forget about this game.
Now I do not play any adult games anymore.
So when it will come out i do not even know if i will be buying it.
I had simillar thing with narrative episodes games like Telltale's The Walking Dead Series/ life is strange.
I was fascinated with them at the beginning but after couple of playthroughs i stopped seeing a reason to play them anymore and i mostly forgot about them now.
I even stopped listening to Life is strange soundtrack.
Do you feel the same way?

I'm still excited...but not so excited that I can't wait for it to appear on Steam eventually. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the story and the setting and the characters in Being a D.I.K. Everything about it is a little slice of Heaven in my humble opinion. But I've lived long enough to learn how obsessive I can get over some things in life, and as a result I have burned myself out on certain things I used to really enjoy.

I love this game too much to risk having that happen again. So the fault lies with me...it's not a reflection of this awesome game, I'm just dealing with one of my own shortcomings.

was never excited. especially when i found out the developer is taking years for season 3.

at this point i have to wonder what dr pinkcake is doing with the money. plus it will be so long i won't have the game installed.

so it was good till the lame 'plot twist" at the end of chapter 8. since there is no season 3 unless you do patreon. and even then just half of it.

I was, when games take years I just forget about them.

I've said in the past that I wish I never started it so I could play it when fully completed.

I know right. They have no idea how long it takes to make quality products. And how much writing goes into it when you have about 5 different paths and on top of that all the different dialogue based on your choices.

The hardest part with games like this is keeping a lid on one's expectations when new content is delivered and tying shoe laces on the back of a moving camper van roof while playing the mouth organ. Yes, a mouth organ is a musical instrument even if it sounds rude.

Honestly, I really hope Tommy get's it in season 3, a drug overdose maybe or trampled by a herd of escape kangaroos. Can't stand that guy, he is massive hypocrite and a grade A scumbag. Damn, i hate that guy, bullies like that should never be in a leadership role.

The number of options and choices that actually impact things is huge, the more you play, the more you can discover differences in the same scenes based on your previous choices. Some people who have a short attention span won't stick around, but if you are someone with a normal ability to actually remember things beyond a few days/weeks will love season 3 once it comes to Steam and GoG. If you can't handle waiting, then Patreon to get Interlude+episode 9 and episode 10 will LOVE the new content.

its just a problem you have nobody else agrees with you eveyrone here loves being a ♥♥♥ its a masterpiece and yes the waiting for season 3 sucks but replaying season 1 and 2 never gets boring.

quality does not all need to be long if the team is understaffed. I mean, I know what the guy is feeling. Acting Lesson was a masterpiece imho. Extending a game into 4 or even 5 seasons is how you would start losing fans. i'm not gonna start criticizing DPC's business model, maybe fan number does not pay as much as patreon subscribers. But as a Steam player's opinion, i wouldn't have started playing BaD if i knew it were meant to be more than 3 seasons.

season 2 was deffinitly NOT better then season 1 it was a very slow season with slow storytelling nah season 1 was WAY better.

I'm not exactly excited for the season specifically but rather I am excited when new episodes are coming out... ep10 took forever but DPC made a lot of tools, upgrades, and new mini-games. All that took extra time but should allow him to make ep 11 and 12 faster. And tbh it was worth the wait.

To each their own I guess but I thought the music and visuals were way better in season 2. I don’t mind the slow story telling. Honestly I kind of prefer it.
