(minor spoilers) Isabella and the helmet - timeline?

i realise that Isabella doesn't have a huge part in the game, but i'm trying to get as far as i can with her.

i read that if i refuse the helmet the first time it's offered, i will end up wearing it during one of her meets which goes against me (can anyone confirm that?) so i backtracked my game to where i thought the helmet was introduced, at the start of hell week.

but when i play through from that point, Derek already has the helmet. how far back do i need to go?

also, can anyone say if the general rule of thumb for BaD is harem, or exclusive? i've been playing as chick, and refusing *most* flirts and stuff, assuming it's exclusive and trying to pork everone will blow up in my face later (except for Maya, we did stuff at some point)

As far as season 1 goes, you're right about Isabella not having that many scenes but after that, she gets a lot more (after all she IS one of the main girls). As for the d i k helmet, throughout the Hell Week, there will be a lot of opportunities for you to decide whether you want to wear it or not, so don't worry about it and nor go back on your pt, every time the game asks, you can just decline.

No, BaDIK does not have a harem path/route, it is exclusive, there will be a point in the game where you will have to decide which girl you want to continue pursuing, and after that decision, you will be permanently locked out of the rest of the girls. However, there is the "Others" path, where the MC realizes he isn't ready to be in a romantic relationship, so he stays single but still can fool around whenever (and with whomever) he wants.

To clarify about the helmet - there are multiple opportunities to wear it, and on each one you decide if you want to or not (the first has some affinity restrictions, others don't). Meeting with Isabella happens after 2nd decision about wearing it. So if you don't want to get -1 point with her, just refuse to wear it on 2nd choice. What you choose at the first opportunity is irrelevant in that regard.

To give a little more information, for the FIRST option for the helmet, if you are neutral or D I K, you can choose to wear it, but Chick will automatically pass to Derek. Beyond that, you will be given the option to wear it or not at certain points.

Slight correction: on the first opportunity to wear helmet MC with D!K affinity can only choose to wear it, CHICK can only pass, and NEUTRAL can choose either option. Like I said, some affinity restrictions.
