I'd like to know how to check my ♥♥♥ score anytime (and set it).
I was just playing the beginning of chapter 3, and I was being VERY careful to stay neutral. I was at -1 ♥♥♥ points and it would not allow me to decline the dildo hat. If I understand correctly you should have the choice if you're neutral.
The first time through I was neutral at this point in the story (choose to wear the hat or not) and got the choice to wear the hat or not. The second time through I went full on ♥♥♥ and didn't get the choice.
This play through I have been VERY careful to try and keep myself balanced around 0. My phone says I'm at -1 ♥♥♥ points. Which is right where I want to be. However, I'm not getting the choice to decline the hat. It's grayed out. I really don't want to play all the way through the first 2 chapters again to get back to this point.
Think of the ♥♥♥ score as the mood of the player, it's affected by all normal choices you make. The ♥♥♥ affinity is the player's personality.
The ♥♥♥ affinity is affected by your major choices, e.g. accepting Quinn's offer or beating up Troy.
In the scene with the hemlet, it's the affinity that will decide your choices.
That's not really explained very well anywhere. As near as I could tell all affinity affected was your maximum potential ♥♥♥ score going in either direction. The graph showing affinity gives that impression. When you make a choice you lose the ends.
The way you describe affinity working it would be much clearer to players if there was a indicator at the center that moved in either direction as they made these choices.
What I had inferred from the removal of those bars is that my POTENTIAL ♥♥♥ score in either direction would be affected. Making choices in either direction would limit your ability to reach the higher levels of ♥♥♥ or CHICK.
That makes sense to me. However, the way you've described this system doesn't seem very intuitive. I don't think "affinity" should be affecting your short term available choices. It would be MUCH clearer to people if that was determined by your ♥♥♥ score only or the way ♥♥♥ affinity was represented to the player was changed.
Btw i played with bunch of routes/paths
Now im just finding possibilities at this point
Great work i must say :D <3
