Pack Quests
Is there any way to replay the pack quests. I got the renders but the achievements didn't unlock, and I don't see any replay option.

Problem #6: I want to reset all progress and start from the beginning; how do I do it?
Solution:
1. Close the game.
2. Right-click the game in your Steam library and select "Properties".
3. Uncheck the box "Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud for Being a ♥♥♥"
4. While still being in "Properties", click "Local files" and choose "Browse" to open the installation directory.
5. The save folder is found here "steamapps\common\Being a ♥♥♥\game\saves". To delete the collectibles, delete the file called "persistent". If you want to delete every save, delete the entire directory.
6. Open "C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\Roaming\RenPy". If you can't find AppData, make sure to "View>Hidden objects" in the file browser.
7. Delete the save files from the "C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\BeingADIK-XXXX" folder.
8. Start the game, and your progress is reset.

Obviously for steps 5 and 7 you DON'T delete any saves and make sure you make a backup of your persistent files from both locations.

Don't touch these files.

nope, no way to replay. Unless you make a save before you start with the pack quest.

The only way to re-do stuff like this is by deleting the persitence file, but that means deleting all renders and unlocks you've gotten so far.

ok, thanks guys. Guess I don't need the achievements.

wouldn't reloading do it, or is there a one-time toggle?

I reinstalled the game, but all the achievements, renders, scenes, etc. are still saved. If I could delete the renders without losing the scenes, I would go for that. But the scenes would take multiple playthroughs to restore, and the achievements aren't really that important to me.

What do you mean with reloading? Reloading prior to the pack quest?
If so then no, if you did it once you can't do it again, same reason you only collect renders on 1 save and never in any other save. The moment you complete it it is saved in the persistence file, every unlock/render/scene is saved on the persistence file, the only way to reset it is by deleting it, which deletes everything.

I don't know of any other way to do that, but it is weird the achievement didnt unlock for you ? That usually only happens in certain conditions.

I know the persistence file records renders unlocked, that's not the issue. I was speaking more along the lines of the coding side of it. If a flag is set when the, in this case, achievement criterium is met. Or if a check would run at each time the criterium is met.

In any case, The Dentist has moved on. I was simply curious and didn't know if you knew more about the coding aspect of it than I do.

I have no idea about the coding aspect, but you can reload the quest pack if you reload a prior save while its ongoing, if you turn in the quest once it counts as completed for any future attempt.

You could always try posting in the bug section though, maybe Das ( or another mod ) or Pink himself may know more.

( Or if i recall there's already a similair post in there )

https://steamcommunity.com/app/1126320/discussions/0/1747897354339718913/ Check #7 in this pinned thread. Basically disable cloud saves, remove your persistent file from both locations, play the pack quests again until the achievement unlocks, place your original persistent file and enable cloud saves again.

So when I open the program files, I see 3 persistent files: persistent, persistent.py, and persistent.pyo. Do I need to move and rename all 3 or only the persistent file? Should I rename it/them or only move it/them to another folder? Then after I replay the Pack Quests, I should restore it/them, right? Also how do I enable/disable cloud saves?

persistent file is in Being a D I K > saves folder.
persistent.pyo, and persistent.py files are in Being a D I K > renpy folder.

I did everything as you instructed with some success.
The game started from the beginning with Jill's speech.
When I got control, I loaded a saved game from season 2, already in the Dorm Party.
All my scenes have disappeared. So far, so good.
But, when I go to Pack Quest, there is no quest available.

What did I do wrong?
Obviously for steps 5 and 7 you DON'T delete any saves and make sure you make a backup of your persistent files from both locations.
The 2 persistent file locations are:
common > BaDik > game > saves, and
name > Appdata > Roaming > RenPy > BaDik-XXXX

Try loading a save before the freeroam. You might have to repeat the steps again now FYI.

Thanks much for the help dAAAMN313, it worked and I got all the Pack Quest achievements.

BTW, is there any compelling reason to reactivate cloud saves for this game?
