Either way, I agree with others that Sage won't be foisting the MC off on Jill. As far as I recall, Sage and Jill barely even run in the same circles since Sage actively avoids using her family's financial status or clout. I don't recall anything off the top of my head that suggests they are friends, or have anything more than a superficial awareness of one another.
As for Sage and the MC staying together, it isn't the ideal situation, but it's not a particularly difficult one either. I expect Sage will have the option to start a career straight out of college, though it is possible she could stay on at B&R for another year or two to pick up a Master's degree. Even if she doesn't, it's hardly a death knell for romance with the MC. The most straightforward solution would be for the MC to simply transfer to a University near wherever she finds work. Another, no less workable, situation would be for the MC to visit or live with her during the generous amount of time off Universities provide their students. Even setting aside the two to three months of summer break (when the MC may be working or interning somewhere), there are multiple week long breaks, usually another month at Christmas, and if the MC can plan his class schedule correctly, plenty of opportunities for long weekend rendezvous. Even without in-person contact, today's technology makes staying connected easier than ever.
Ultimately, if they are committed to one another and are willing to accept some distance related inconvenience, there's no reason they couldn't stay happily together until the MC graduates.
Just so.
Also Sage and Jill are mutually exclusive though, if you go for Sage, or even choose Sage over Jill in a key moment you miss out on the Jill route.
Jill explicitly tells Josy when they met that she's a Junior (3rd year student).
The fact that Sage graduates by the end of the school year shouldn't have an effect in their relationship if they have one. Given her family influence and networks almost surely she will end getting a cozy job in town, so the MC and her will still be able to see each other regularly (possibly she will rent/buy her own home and the MC can even live there with her until he graduates) I honestly don't see any issues between them because of this (there could be other issues, but this one is minor in my opinion)
I see Sage (if interested in the MC) suggesting him Jill (or any other MG for that matter) extremely unlikely.
At the current pace of the game (by the end of S2 we're starting the 7th week of the semester), and with approximately between 15-20 Eps planned, almost surely the full game will cover only the MC Freshman year, and that's it.
Sage has expressed how reluctant she is to tap into her family's assistance, though. I feel like she would rather do it all on her own if she can, only turning to her family if she winds up needing a back up plan.
As far as her relationship with MC, she's surely into it if he is, but she's exhibited a level of maturity in knowing what she wants from MC from the beginning; making it clear from before the relationship started she was just looking for fun, and touching base with where she stands on things when MC asks for more. She's into him, but MC is the one pushing for the relationship. Sage even calls him out for playing mind games if you pursue Sage route and then later break things off to go the Jill route.
With the maturity she exhibits in the relationship, her study habits, balancing her life with the HOTs, etc, I feel like she'll pursue whatever career looks best for her future and, while she'd certainly be open to continuing a relationship with MC, she's forward focused on her life right now. MC is welcome to come along for the ride, and she'll likely always have a spot in her heart for him, but I don't think she'd settle for a cozy job in town just to stay nearby. This is apparently a small college town, with her economics degree Sage is more likely to be drawn somewhere bigger in the near future.
I think she's going to love the last few months of her senior year with MC, then hold him as a pleasant memory until/unless they meet up again years down the road.
I was playing a neutral game with Maya, Josy and Jill and I had refused Sage's advances throughout the previous episodes and at episode 7 at the hot party she still wants to sleep with MC.
Sage is really persistent, do we tell her yes or no?
If it's to tell her one episode later that MC wants to break up it's still a shame, isn't it? plus she gives me a 2 out of 5 after I slept with her. lol
Yes we have 2/5 in the garden and 3/5 if we continue in the room with Sage.
