Official Guide Question

Is there a way to open the official guide in a separate window from the application? It's really frustrating having to constantly close and re-open it as I'm making dialogue choices. It also won't open at all if you have the phone open or the new house management mini game.

It's not something with native support no. You could take screenshots with the 's' key of the pages and have them in another window.

Well is is in game, you open it by pressing "g " , it just doesnt work if the phone is open (and the new mini game according to OP, I cant verify till I reach that point )

its not hard to press G to view it, press it again to get back to the game. you should have enough memory to be able to go back and forth. i have no problem doing it, and if you truly want to view it side by side, screen shot it.

if you dont think its worth the money then dont play with the guide and wing it.

Can the guide be used split screen in windows 10? No need to screen shot anything when you do that, I do that for alot of games. So i don't have to do that.

i bought both seasons and both guides, the dev is making money with people like me. lmaoo. you were complaining that screenshotting the guide wasnt a solution and you complained that selling the guide was pointless.

Let's leave off the toxic remarks and enjoy the game. DPC already explained that the native engine doesn't support the ability to display the guide on another screen. The options are to screenshot sections and display those or even take pictures of the guide using your phone to use as a quick reference.

When I press G nothing happens. I checked caps lock, and pressing Shift+g only brings up settings. I just bought it today, so have never used it successfully. Am I missing something?

English keyboard layout and lower case 'g' opens the guide.

I have an English layout...although I did see a feedback saying I have to start a new game...is that the case?

It's not, make sure the guide is downloaded and installed, right click the game on your steam library > properties > DLC. Sometimes steam has a hard time installed DLCs so give it restart and check again. Also make sure you press g after loading a save and not in the main menu for example.
